Rooms were clean and well maintained. Kendra was a great front desk assistant. Upon arrival she entered my points since I forgot and was very helpful. stayed for 2 nights and the breakfast was great- kid friendly and very quiet. Pillows were a set of each firm and soft!

Spent an overnight here while travelling through OH. Check in was painless. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom and necessities were all in good order. We had breakfast (included) the next AM. Nothing special here but edible and fresh. This location is literally in the middle of nowhere directly off of I-90. Easy to get to but not much around. Perfect for a short stop.

It is in a convenient location, we where here for an event at the fairgrounds and it is just a minute away from that, they do have signs in the bathroom telling you to keep the door shut and vent fan on while showering, we did and had no problems, but the fire alarm did go off the first night we were there about 3am? We were checked in with no problems, got our room, looks like the place is undergoing some renovation as they are putting on a new room, we were on the ground floor, so it never bothered us, I think they are due for new beds as ours seemed soft and would sink to the middle. The cleaning staff needs to be a little more attentive as there was a candy wrapper in the corner of the room, and was still there after we left, clearly they were not paying any attention in cleaning the room, the breakfast bar was nice and seemed fresh all the time, with the typical breakfast at a HI express, over all good stay, friendly people

We spent one night here during a cross country trip with our 2 dogs. It is a great spot to stay with pets. There is a lot of lawn areas outside and it seems to be a very safe and quiet area, fine for a late night walk if necessary. We didn't use the hotel pool, but it also looked very nice and clean. In the morning there was a very nice breakfast included as well. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Staff was very accommodating, room was clean, and breakfast was good. It was very easy to get off and back on the highway, and there is a gas station right across the street. We would stay here again.

Everything was going fairly well until checkout on Sunday. We were eating breakfast, close to the end of the breakfast hour. The manager was very loud about (We're not making any more food, or we'll have too much waste" as another couple had just arrived. One of the guests turned on the pancake making machine, and the manager walked past, and turned it back off. After returning to the room with my elderly parents, I called down to request a later checkout. The conversation went like this. Manager - Front Desk Me - Hi, I'd like to request a later checkout today, as my parents (who are elderly) required a bit more time to get ready Manager - (Abruptly) Well, what time were you thinking? I am really short staffed and my housekeepers are already behind Me - I was thinking just an extra hour to give them some ti- Manager - (Interrupting me) Well, it HAS to be 12:00 because I already have 6 others leaving late, and I am short staffed Me - Ok thank y--- The manager then hung up on me. The answer I really expected was "No problem. We can do that." I, as a customer, DO NOT need to know your staffing problems or be treated rudely. If my elderly parents weren't SO SLOW, maybe I could have saved the manager such angst. Won't stay there again.

Overall it was a very decent good stay. The room was tidy and clean, decent free breakfast which included bagels, pancakes, cereal oatmeal and muffins, along with the drinks. I gave it four stars. I would do five, but considering it was a bit overpriced, I think due to lack of other competing hotels (not motels) in the area

This hotel is right off the turnpike. Clean, quiet and comfortable. My friend and I stayed here to catch up after not seeing each other for a few years. We found the common areas comfortable. There isn't a lot of extra things close but we managed to be happy staying just in the hotel. Breakfast was good. The room had a microwave and refrigerator so we brought food with us to fill meals around breakfast. Check in was friendly, efficient and quick.

This was a joke I had with my son about where is Wauseon, but after staying here I will definitely find it again. We only stayed one night but it was a pleasant stay. We checked in and within a half hour my room phone rang and it was a staff member asking if the room was acceptable. I was very impressed ! It was a nice clean room, nothing fancy but worth the money. When we checked in the front desk person was very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, I can't say that about the employee who was in the breakfast area when I got some coffee at 5:45am. I know for a fact it was not the lady who tended to the breakfast area because she was quite nice and helpful, especially when I spilled my coffee later on while eating with my family. At 5:45am this female employee who I believe was the overnight front desk person was standing right next to me when I got my coffee and never acknowledged me or anything when she looked right at me. She looked like her night wasn't going well. I knew breakfast didn't start until 6 but surely a cup of coffee wouldn't hurt, would it? Needless to say, one disgruntled employee can give a business a bad name.

Checked in 12/08/16 without a reservation and when I asked for a discount for being a Veteran, I was offered almost $30 off of the rack rate. Room and bathroom updated, nice selection of soaps and toiletries. I appreciated the fact that they also had a spare razor and foam at the front desk. The receptionist who checked me in was exceptionally welcoming and professional. I would note that the exercise room, though had some cardio equipment, was sparse with weight machines and dumbells. The printer in the office area didn't have ink. Still, the check in experience and cleanleness of the room makes this hotel a 9 to say the least. I plan on staying there again within the next week. This was a business trip.
