Close to all things inWausau. Comfortable and quiet. Great breakfast with good hostess. Staff extra helpful. Really seemed to care we were there.

Overall our stay of 4 nights was good. They offer a good breakfast and the condition and cleanliness of the room was also good. The only real problem I had was with the common areas such as the hallways. They smelled musty and old. Also an elevator would have been nice to move my bags.

My son and I were there overnight for a bowling tournament. It was quite disappointing to find out upon our check in that the pool was not available. When I asked why it was closed, they said it was because they did not get their parts in time to fix the pool. I think this is unsatisfactory. We booked our night there based on cost and amenities. My son had to go to another hotel where other boys were staying just to enjoy in their pool. It was a great inconvenience. I may have booked with another hotel if I would have known but it was too late to do that.

This hotel was at a great location from Granite Peak Mountain. I was a little out dated, but close to stores and a bowling alley if you wanted to do something at nigh. The rooms were fine. Not dirty and the service was nice. The lady at the front desk was ver polite and the women serving breakfast was also very nice.

Hotel was the nicest option available and I'm glad I moved over to it.

This is a great place to stop after taking in a Packers game. The rates are far more reasonable than those in Green Bay and it got me a little closer to home before turning in for the night... The staff was friendly, the room clean, breakfast was the typical fare. Good location.

We had a family gathering the next day, and not a lot spare time, so this was an excellent choice for a short stay. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Breakfast was just enough for a quick meal and then hitting the road.

the room was clean. the WiFi was very slow. the hallway noise and noise from other room was bad. I would not stay at this location again.

My family stayed at LA Quinta in Wausau, WI one night. I would not stay there again. On the positive side, the room was clean and there was free wi fi. Everything else was negative, from the minute we crossed the threshold, including the threshold. It was snowing, the entryway floor was wet and very slippery and the rug was sopping wet, neither of which had been taken care of when we left the next morning. The walls were paper thin - we heard everything outside our room like there were no walls, the beds were uncomfortable, the towels were very small and were like tissue paper. The free breakfast wasn't worth the price. The worst part was that I paid $30 more than the guy who checked in before me and the clerk wouldn't adjust my rate. Ouch! First experience at La Quinta. Now I know.

This is the second time I have reviewed our stay at this hotel. The first time was a week ago, and I have not had any response. Our stay at this hotel was very unsatisfactory, and I am looking for at least a partial refund. Please respond Jackie Jurkowski

My husband, daughter & I returned to our room on Sat. 8-31 @ 10:00 pm, to find the door ajar, held open by the dead bolt. And, the TV was on!! We had been gone from the room 14 hours, moving my 89 year old mother to assisted living, and cleaning her old apartment. Hotel staff could not tell us what happened, other than a maid had reported the door ajar when shift changed (mid afternoon?? We have no idea how long our room was open). When we asked why the maid did not close the door, we were told she thought the tenant was sleeping & didn't want to bother him/her. When we asked why staff didn't contact me, they said they did not have a phone #.(I gave them my cell # the day before, due to a very loud neighboring room from the night before). The # they did have on file is a land line from our home, but they did not know that. Upon returning home on 9-2, there were no calls from the hotel. They never tried to call, and our room could have been standing open for many hours. Then, the following day, upon returning to the room at dinnertime, I found the beds made, but the bathroom was not cleaned. After many stays in hotels over the years, my stay in Wausau, WI, was among the worst. I am requesting at least 2 nights be refunded of the 3 nights I reserved through your online company. Thank you, Jacqueline Jurkowski

Good. nice place to stay. Groceries and food easy to get to.

In a good area with plenty of food and shopping nearby.

Check in and check out were taken care of very quickly; facility was convenient to highway, and also many other stores/shops in area. Room was comfortable. No fan in bathrooms which would be a nice addition. Complimentary breakfast was sufficient -- only hot item is the waffle maker, but had fresh fruit, juices, cereal, yogurt, muffins. There is no elevator - not a problem for us, but heard some older people remark about the lack of.

This was an outstanding value, My only complaints are that the bathroom didn't have a fan and the hot tub was a little too hot, Otherwise it was absolutely perfect for the money!!!!!

Great location near various restaurants. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and very good breakfast included.

This is a great value for the price. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms have microwaves, refrigerators, blow dryers, coffee makers, and great service.Did I mention that the breakfast was great? No elevator though. Thanks so much!!

Was simple but had all that I needed for just a place to rest my head. Was close to ewhre I needed to be so very conveniently located.

The bed was uncomfortable, the staff were very friendly and it was perfect for the one night we needed on our way up North.

LaQuinta met our needs perfectly. The location was convenient to our route - easy to find. Breakfast was nicely done. Staff person who registered us was very helpful, for example in helping us locate a certain restuarant we had in mind. Karl
