Our stay for one night was great. During one of the hottest days in June. Our room had water views. I would suspect it would have been the largest room in the hotel complex. We were very fortunate compared to others on our Trafalgar Tour. The dinner meal was great. A lovely way to start our tour of Ireland. A very nice 3 course meal. Breakfast in the morning another continental breakfast with all the trimmings.

I recently stayed at the Waterford Marina Hotel and while the location is only a couple of minutes from the mall and the Waterford Crystal store. And if you get a view of the water from your room that is nice as well. Parking was also a plus in a secure locked free garage, Though the garage is a bit tight in the parking spaces. However that is where the nice things end. The receptionists are very rude and ignore you for a few minutes even though they are not busy. I witnessed this first and second end as well. The room was in a sad state. The bathroom was horrible, The shower/tub area needed a severe cleaning, or at least a redo of the grout and caulk as it was mostly black mold/mildew all over. The room was a bit dated and also could use a remodel. The breakfast was pretty good. No real complaints there. Would not recommend staying here, if so no more than one day at the most.

I enjoyed my stay. Very good location, lovely food, lovely people. Yes i would stay here again and i would recommend it to people I had no problems i enjoyed it all. I would stay here again One of the nicest places in ireland

Very good location Right on the edge of the Viking Triangle with riverside views and a very warm welcome good secure parking in to the bargain.Nice clean good sized room with the normal facilities we all expect. The bar area was spacious with water front views and a good menu for all tastes. All the staff were second to none cheerful and helpful.

Stayed here last week for 1 night. The hotel definitely needs modernising however my room was absolutely spotless- which is most important to me. Would definitely stay again. I went into the bar downstairs and the barmaid was so rude and angry for no reason- full of attitude. And her cocktails she made my colleagues and I were horrible!!

This hotel is situated, as you would expect, right on the river. It's fairly standard, maybe a little outdated. The hotel has a bar and restaurant which were also fairly standard. It does have its own car park, which is handy. Thought that the staff could be a bit more friendly and smiley.

The hotel's location is very convenient. We were able to walk all over town and enjoy. Our room was overlooking the river, so we could hear the water pass by- very relaxing! We could watch the rowing club and all the birds go by. The rooms are comfortable, but a little dark. Breakfast was included in our room and there was a good variety and it was tasty. We ate dinner in the bar one night - and even got to watch football for awhile - and our favorite team!

The hotel is located within walking distance of the Viking Triangle and, as the name implies, directly on the river. It is on a quiet street with adjacent parking, so ideal for a visit of the city. The room we had was large, there is a safe, and a kettle with tea, coffee and milk. The bathroom was a bit dark - we found the light dim. Breakfast is both continental and Irish with a nice selection of healthy choices. I asked and received non dairy (almond) milk. There is a bar and restaurant, overlooking the river, which have a nice menu at reasonable prices. The only thing we did not like was the service at reception. We were ignored for several minutes by both girls sitting there, when we first arrived. Then were asked to wait a few more minutes and even then, found them to be unfriendly. The man, the next morning was not much more friendly than his colleagues of the previous day. Unlike the servers at the restaurant both on the evenings morning, who were attentive and forthcoming.

Stayed here for just one night for a gig in a local pub. The hotel is within walking distance of the centre of town and has onsite parking which is incredibly handy. The room was spacious and clean and we had a lovely view. Perhaps a little more expensive than I think it should have been but I would stay again.

Can't fault a thing. Excellent room with a river view, all spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, parking wasn't an issue, although I found the hotel n parking a bit hard to find. Breakfast was lovely too. All in all, a lovely night, wish we could have stayed longer.
