It is not a hotel. It’s someone’s private condo. Not really fun for kids.

I liked the cleanliness the amenities and the extras- the grill was great. It’s great for families. Pool was nice and the location for sunsets amazing. I think the only thing is the showers didn’t have hot water - only the tub did. Luckily the weather is hot so not so bad to have a cold shower. Other than that it was relaxing 😎

Very clean and well kept all over. Pool area is wonderful. Only wish there were more umbrellas for shade. Couldn’t do much to make it better. Loved it!

It was quiet and the maintenance was first class. The condo came completely furnished with useful items we weren't expecting.

It was lovely, but I paid $25 a day for access to the pool and $185 for a cleaning fee a 2 night stay

Had pleasant experience staying in this resort. no complains.

Great place. Not close to the beach. But very nice.

Club house and beachside pool were relaxing and a nice break after touring the Island - staff very helpful and friendly

Our family of 4 stayed in 19C. It was everything we could have asked for. We used it for a base and went to explore different locations around the island, daily. It was great for the kids(teenagers) to each have their own bed (twin beds, one room). The kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, plates and bowls, microwave, oven and a full-size frig was great for cooking breakfast and a quick dinner here and there. The lanai was a wonderful place to hang out to eat and drink. We did not spend hardly anytime in the living room, but the couch and chair seemed comfortable. The washer and dryer in the unit was a blessing! There was a bike, basketball (Court just down the way), beach umbrellas, one outdoor chair and now 2 boogie boards for use by whoever rents the condo. We had appetizers and listened to live music at the pool - perfect to sit and watch the sun set! We have always stayed in hotels, the condo was beyond our usual and absolutely perfect for this vacation. It was beautiful and met all of our needs while we were here!!!

We stayed 8 days 2/25/17 through 3/5/17. We loved our experience! Great location and accommodations!

Outstanding Villa, gorgeous views, close to beaches. Beautiful private pool and workout room. The big island is wonderful. The locals are gracious people. Will definitely be returning.

The condo at Hali'i Kai was a great place for our family visiting the big island for the week. We booked a comfortable 2 BR which served as a great base for us while we explored the island. Each condo comes with a kitchen and washer and dryer, which came in handy. The pool and gym facilities were also a perk for some in between exploring moments. The carpet in our unit was a bit worn, and the same could be said about the bed in our master (it sunk in), but I think overall, the resort is great.

Our condo was exactly what we were hoping for - amazing location near beaches and restaurants, beautifully decorated, great view, access to the fantastic pool, great amenities like a well-stocked kitchen and laundry room, and so much more!

We booked this condo not being sure of what to expect and we were blown away. The resort is beautiful. The pool is gorgeous and what a treat to sit by the pool, enjoying a drink and watching the incredible Hawaiian sunset. The bar/grill staff was outstanding and very friendly. The open air gym had a view of the ocean. Where else can you work out and watch whales in the ocean. We had a fabulous time.

Former Oahu resident who fell in love with this place. Serene, clean, and modern luxury. The community and 3 bedroom unit we had were outstanding. Great for those wanting a home like setting instead of a hotel. The Waikoloa resort area it's in is beautiful. For those not familiar with this part of Hawaii it is worth mentioning it's built on volcanic rock. So unique, but also not the tropical setting those unfamiliar with the dynamic terrain expect when visiting the islands. It's on a coastline with the ocean backdrop against picturesque black rocks and cliffs. So breathtaking views but no beaches connected. Several gorgeous beaches only a few minutes away by car so this is not an obstacle if you have transportation.

This was my 4th stay at Hali'i Kai and it was fabulous as always.
