Beautiful resort, great location, but onsite team needs support
This is a very nice condo in an absolutely beautiful setting. The pool, grill, and exercise area are set on the ocean for memorable experiences. I highly recommend the property and condo.
Whether it be from worker shortages or lack of management, there is an obvious lack of management on the property. The Halii Kai workers we encountered seemed very stressed and unhappy, and the customer service affects were clear. If there was a better management culture, or more support, this would be a five-star property.
Only other negative that was the poor floor construction between units. Lower level condos have excessive noise from footsteps in units above.
All that said, the atmosphere of this property sufficiently overcomes the criticism noted above. Especially if you recognize the service may be underwhelming going into it, and realizing that you can easily limit these interactions, I think most folks will really enjoy Halii Kai.
