Hale Laki is situated within the Waikoloa Beach Villas, a luxurious gated community in the heart of the Waikoloa Beach Resort on Hawaii’s Big Island. This prime location offers guests a blend of comfort, convenience, and access to a variety of attractions.

Mountain and sea canyon hiking can also be found nearby.

Over all this condo is as listed. It was clean with plenty of fresh towels, paper products, and cleaning supplies. However, I had significant frustration with the host company in multiple instances. To start, they would not give me the gate and door access codes ahead of time, nor would they tell me exactly when the codes would be available until I quoted VRBO’s own policy to them (stating they need to provide an exact time for detailed entry information within 72 hours of check-in). When I quoted this policy to them, they finally let me know exactly when for and gate codes would be provided. But it was uncomfortable knowing I would get my entire family on a long flight to Hawaii without having access information for my stay. My other frustration is that the host, Grand Welcome, seems to be a big faceless conglomerate, using AI to interact with guests in the chat function. I rarely reached a real person, and it felt very impersonal. Overall, I would avoid renting through this host.

Beautiful, well appointed property. The host thought of most everything to make an enjoyable stay.The drawbacks we encountered were a clogged bathtub in the second floor bedroom (not the primary ensuite) and a malfunctioning small blind in the living room, left of the TV. The non-functional bathroom was inconvenient as there were 6 in our party. I notified Grand Welcome on the first night; the service agent stated she would notify the office and someone would come in the morning (Saturday). I made a second call on Sunday morning @ 0900.No one showed up until 1:00PM Sunday afternoon. In the ensuite bathroom of the primary bedroom, the glass shower door does not close completely as the strip @ the bottom of the door is out of alignment.Also, y'all might think about installing grab bars in theshower areas of the bathrooms to promote safety.

The house had everything you'd need for an extended stay. We had our 2 and 4 year old so having a pack and play, floatation devices and toys was great. They loved the pool and actually learned to swim in it! Very close to shops, resorts and beaches. Lava Lava Beach Club was especially nice! All responses from host were prompt and helpful. Will hope to stay again, Mahalo!
