Located in the Vibe / Oceanfront District a quick two blocks from the Ocean and the Virginia Beach boardwalk is the The Ripple.
The Ripple is a completely remodeled in 2023 is a 950 Sq Ft. 2bedroom, 1 bathroom, beach apartment home centrally located for your next family vacation to the beach or just to relax. This home is part of a duplex, it is the upstairs half so we do recommend guests being comfortable enough going up and down stairs.
Enjoy a tranquil stay just blocks from the hustle and bustle of the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Local favorite restaurants, shops, pubs, entertainment, and nightlife are a quick walk or bike away!
We do require a $200 damage deposit hold to the CC on file 48 hours prior to your arrival. Exterior security cameras are present overlooking the driveway / yard / entryway
1. No additional guests on the property other than the ones included on the booking.
2. This property is above the home below. Please be courteous and keep any loud noises at a respectable level. Per city ordinance no noise is permitted that can be heard at a neighboring property and quiet hour is 10pm.
3.Per the city of Virginia Beach's guidelines no more than 2 cars per booking and cars must be parked on the left side of the driveway!
4. No smoking, $500 cleaning fee if property smells like smoke of any kind.
5. No Parties or events, $500 fee & immediate cancellation
6. We do not accept local bookings & guests must be over the age of 25 to book.

We came in for the Point Break Festival- this place was great- it was 1.2 mile walk to the festival so we hoofed over and back each day- not bad being is I’m a runner- the only thing I’d say was a negative experience was the cars/traffic Saturday night, they were rather loud- but everything else was peachy King!

First impression before we even arrived was perturbing. We choose this property mainly based on the fact that it was advertised as having two parking spaces but immediately after booking got a message from the host saying driving two cars was not recommended because the tight space didn't really fit two cars. Well, that was a problem because we had to bring two cars down. Once we got there parking two cars was not a problem, so I don't know why they send out that message. Unit was clean. The unit needs more ice trays and something to hold ice in the freezer. One ice cube tray is not nearly enough. Location is great. Central to everything. Be aware that there is some traffic noise, especially at night.

Excellent Location
The place was spotless, very spacious, and well-appointed. Check-in was a breeze and Cathleen and Chris were easy to contact with any questions. I was expecting to cook, but there were so many great restaurants nearby- I never pulled out a pan! The location was perfect for us! Thanks!

Great vacation
Beautiful house and perfect location to the beach, restaurants, and shops! This was our first time in Virginia Beach and it did not disappoint. The homeowners were great with communication and provided a guide book which was extremely helpful. Overall my family had a wonderful experience.

We were there with three of our teenagers, and it was perfect! Very clean, very cute, and close enough to the beach that we could easily walk back and forth several times a day. We would get up early in the mornings to watch the dolphins play in the sunrise, then the kids would want to go back to the house to nap for a while. We would walk back to the beach at around 9:30 to stay for the day, and the beach cart and chairs that were provided made it very convenient to take everything back and forth. We would also take evening walks to eat, shop, or find different forms of entertainment each night. (miniature golf, outdoor concerts, ferris wheel, etc.) It was also very nice that the grocery store was close, and that The Ripple had a washer and dryer for us to use when we needed it. Very convenient! When I had a question, they were very responsive in getting back to me. We had a lovely stay!

Very clean and well kept place in close proximity to the beach. The beach was very hot and challenging but the ocean was an oasis. We came to welcome our son home from a Middle East deployment that was a difficult time for his family and the Ripple was exactly what we needed.
