Small hotel with seasonal rooms being rented out , needs a make over
It could have been worse. There were some obnoxious tenants (I think some guests were actually living there), and a loud concert behind the motel kept us up one night, but those things weren't unexpected. What was unexpected and unpleasant was the condition of the motel and it's amenities. Our window was broken out and replaced with a piece of plastic that was just resting against the remaining part of the window. The window shades were all broken. Our sheets and blankets were covered in stains and cigarette burns. They only gave us two pathetic excuses for towels. There were strands of dark thick hair in and on everything we came across. Also, when we got there, we discovered moldy food left in the microwave. We will not be rebooking a stay here.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I actually have pretty low standards when it comes to places to sleep but OH lord this place was nasty. The staff was also EXTREMELY unfriendly. The room itself was horrifying. I saw reviews from months ago that said they were under renovation, but that’s not the case. Everything is broken and busted and staying broken and busted. There was masking tape everywhere?? The bathroom was dirty and missing tiles everywhere, the bathroom door had a hole that looked someone punched it, our bathroom light strobed whenever it was on, the list goes on. Spend the extra $20 and stay at a holiday inn or something.

Location of property was great, however we rented 2 rooms with full kitchens so we could cook some days. There was was a full kitchen but not 1 pot, pan, cup, plate, NOTHING!! To get clean towels we had walk down and exchange dirty towels for clean. Mold on shower curtain. Chipping paint, outlets didnt work, lights in bedroom had to find a lamp that worked in the dark.
1 block to beach, 2 blocks to fishing pier, quiet area, church next door.
Do not stay here. This place is disgusting and run down. No hot water, towels, or soap.
1) The room was nasty. The walls had stains all over them and they were peeling. Nothing was dusted or wiped down. The mattress looked like an old camping mattress with mold all over it. It looked like bed bug residue was on the bed frame. There was lots of mold in the bathroom and shower. 2) The property manager was rude. When we went to her and asked for a clean room she yelled at me! She was upset that I pulled back the sheet to inspect the bed. She then told me I was not to mess up her bed because she didn't have any cleaners. She then told us she would not give a refund so I told her I would leave this review. 3) The service and the room was piss poor. It was not sanitary for us to stay there and this place should be inspected by the health inspector and shut down.

A little dated but partially renovated. Mini fridge and microwave worked. Floors and pool could have been cleaned better. great location. Close to beach, shops, and restaurants.
Great service, front desk staff was very accommodating. We stayed with our dog and this was a great place close to the boardwalk. About 2 blocks. Really, nice people.
Cost, closeness to downtown, pool, modern bathroom, friendly staff were all reasons this hotel was excellent.
Very friendly staff and the place was very clean. The hotel is not a big hotel but the pool is nice to swim after a day on the beach.
It is close to the beach. I was disappointed in the cleanliness and noise with the pool in the center. Said that towels would be changed, didn’t happen. I won’t stay there again.
A good bargain hotel for a trip to Virginia Beach. Not the cleanest or in the best condition, but the staff were nice and it was in a good location.
