The home was one of the most beautiful we've stayed in, with so much space from the seating to the bedding, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The views were great, and the pool was always warm. It was just steps away from our own private beach, so it was really easy to go back and forth. If some of the kids were at the beach and someone wanted to head back to the pool, it took no time at all. We had 8 adults and 4 kids, and there was more than enough room for everyone, we could've fit more.The location was fantastic, close to everything. The neighborhood was wonderful, less than a 10 minute walk to two different ice cream shops and a seaside market, plus an ice cream truck that came by every day. Virginia Beach is a quick 20 minute drive if you want more to do.We highly recommend this home to families, and would stay again.The property management company, Sandbridge Blue, was difficult to work with, so we'd recommend clear communication with them from the start, separate from our rating of the home itself. The patio door upstairs didn't lock, which was a safety issue. We reported it within 24 hours of check-in and it was never fixed, even though they sent someone out for another issue (a leak). We ended up blocking the door with chairs for the rest of the trip, so we'd check that it's been fixed before you stay. The house also wasn't very clean when we arrived, though they did offer to send a housekeeper once we pointed it out.
