Fabulous....nothing detrimental to say....breakfast ok...would not pay for extra guests though...plentiful, not imaginative. Beautiful rooms and the service was brill...Nothing was to much to ask for if you needed it...Loved the hotel, will go back
We had two rooms, both were quite comfortable. One overlooked the interior courtyard, the other one had windows onto the street. The public rooms in the hotel were very beautiful. The staff was exceptionally helpful. Breakfast was exceptional, with a wonderful buffet and several interesting and delicious items that could be selected from a menu and made to order. Location next to the old town was great. We had a hard time driving to the hotel because several nearby streets had been switched to one way and our GPS did not recognize the change.
This is my favourite sort of hotel . It's small and classy and tucked in a side street in the centre of the old town. Indoor pool, garden courtyard and lots of smaller lounge areas to relax. Beware needing to book the swimming pool before you use it (really!) and slippery bathroom floors. But this is a good hotel full of character in an excellent central but quiet location. We were upgraded to a lovely room
There aren't a ton of choices for higher end hotels in Vilnius, but I think this is one of the best they have to offer. The people are all very accommodating and there is just a sense of a lot of history to the building. I'm not sure how long the hotel has been the Stykliai but the building has been there a long time. The rooms are small but given the age of the building I would say that is typical. There are a couple of small bar areas inside the hotel that are very cozy and and offer a good wine selection. It's very private. Cost of living in Lithuania is much lower than most of Europe. So room rates are extremely reasonable. Strongly recommend it.
This is a wonderful hotel - walking distance to most tourist sites and the beautiful churches that Vilnius is known for! The staff are helpful and friendly, breakfast buffet was great. I give the hotel 4+ stars, and would definitely stay there again, but my room on third floor was not the best. The pitched roof took half of the room and the windows faced the sky - so one couldn't really look out and i felt a bit claustrophobic. If you stay at the hotel, and I do recommend it, make sure you get a regular room.
It is a great hotel located on Vilnius old town, with good accommodations in the old style, of course. Lots of celebrities have stayed there. From the hotel we could walk everywhere. Breakfast was very good but for me, the greatest thing of all was the staff of the reception. The ladies were amazing. Really doing everything to help and besides, always with a beautiful smile in their faces!!
This is a luxury hotel from a bygone era. Pictures of visiting dignitaries who stayed there greet you as you enter. The building is full of beautiful art, furniture, a lovely winter garden and small bar. Our room was spacious and quiet but the bath only had one sink. We found the two best features were the breakfast and the pool/sauna. The buffet was over the top and a menu to order eggs and other hot dishes to order. The staff were very pleasant. The pool and sauna were wonderful. Build time into your stay to enjoy them. You can walk to all sights easily. A lovely experience.
During our 10-day trip, we had the privilege of staying in four 5-star hotels in Helsinki, Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. This was our favorite. Everyone was friendly and hospital. Their breakfast is awesome. Our room was large and comfortable. There is no better location in Vilnius. Highly recommend.
If you are used to live in five star hotel definitely don't come to this hotel! Yes, this hotel have a history, but the rooms are the same old. If you come to Vilnius better live in Kempinski. In this hotel even service is disaster. I was waiting the tooth brush and toothpaste for 30 minutes. In my opinion it is a shame for the chateau hotel group
Comfortable room, easy internet, very nice people, usual screwy shower screen that funnels water directly to the bathroom floor. Outstanding breakfast buffet. Slightly confusing in-room safe, so read the instructions before you start pushing buttons. Great ceramics on display in the hallways, but a fair number of stairs between the desk and the elevator, so accessibility challenged. Terrific location for walking to restaurants and other attractions.
