By the railway station, just walk over opposite. The rooms are extremely basic, so you would not like to stay here for more than a night. Some rooms really have a Jerusalem like panorama as located on a hill (after all Vilnius used to be called the Jerusalem of the North before the Germans and their Lithuanian collaborators killed 1/2 of the city's population, like 200 000 Jews). So this place like so many on the Eastern Front is haunted by its history, with no sociological-urban continuity as mass devastation has obliterated a sense of communal history. Then came the Soviets and we all know the rest . . . At this hotel it can get very hot in the summer as only suites have air-con. Useful is the Mcdonalds for breakfast and with 24-hour takeaway only 5 meters away just in front of the hotel.
In my opinion the price of the hotel room is very reasonable. Breakfast is included in the price (breakfast is more than ok). The beds, pillows, duvets and so on are comfortable, and it was also pretty quiet during our stay in the beginning of april. It is not in the center of city, but it is only about 15 min walk from the main sightseeings. Taxi to the center costs only 2 € (Uber). The hotel´s name is Panorama, and our room was on the 5-th room, and there was a fabulous view over the old town, liked it very much:))) Definitely will be back to this hotel, if we´ll be in Vilnius again. Thanks to receptionists, nice guys:)
Room seem a little bit small without kettle provide for hot water drinking. However, the hotel’s location is excellent for travelers, it just opposite to the train station and bus station! Breakfast not too many choices but sufficient! The services overall are acceptable!
stayed there 1 night , very cosy , friendly staff , best location. Good price don't expect a luxury but clean and comfortable, modernized. I stayed in the basic room and was glad shampoo is standard as well, shower is warm and cosy . Breakfast is srved, they do lunch box
A budget hotel opposite the train station and within walking distance of the beautiful town centre. There were no frills about the room, but the hotel was comfortable. It provided a decent base during my time in Vilnius.
Good price don't expect much in the room. I stayed in the basic room no kettle no coffee no tea only shampoo in the bathroom. Breakfast is very good short walk to the old town McDonald just opposite the hotel. The hotel is fine for me
There is a choice of 3 rooms if I stayed again I would use a deluxe suite but I stayed in the basic room.. the location is Ok about a 15 minute walk to the town hall square and the views from the hotel are very nice.. the staff are helpful and polite and the breakfast is nice with alot of options .. the room itself is very basic no kettle of tea making facilities, the tv is a no go just 4 fuzzy channels and one seemed to be soft core porn.. the wi fi signal is pretty weak and the so called sun proof curtains er are not sun proof at all so it's an early wake up.. this hotel was fine for me it all depends what you want
Stayed in basic room no kettle no fridge no safe. Basic furniture. Shower very dodgy got sprayed with very hot water. AMAZING views from room and communal area. Breakfast was very good. Good location near to train, bus and coach stations made travel very easy. Near a supermarket. Food was very tasty although my side order was incorrect (Possibly due to language barrier.) bar very pricey. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend if you are on a budget and spend most of the day sightseeing.
Panorama is a sort of business hotel near the center of the city, the ratio of the price and the quality is interesting! (cheap and usefull with a good bouquet of services). Nevertheless the overall quality is not ad high level. The building is a little old, the furnitures in a aged style, etc. The most interesting aspect is, for sure, the price.
Wonderful staff with particular mention to Rolandas Mečkauskas (Mr.) who was able to better manage my problem resulting from a failure to my arrival in the structure in terms of repayment and courtesy immense shown me by email. Structure that I already knew, excellent location, great staff, clean rooms and services always excellent. I think that to work or just a romantic weekend, the Panorama hotel is the best you can have in Vilnius. Proximity to the bus and train station and to the historic center. I highly recommend the Panorama hotel. I will continue to go there for every visit to Vilnius.
