The advantage of this hotel is its location, on opposite site of the hotel is the bus station. I arrived by LUX bus from Riga, and it takes only two minutes to get it. You will get the old town for 10 minutes, it is additional advantages. The rooms are small, not in the good condition, without air condition, so I suppose how it is during the summer, because I was hot in June! But I would recommend this hotel for one day visit of Vilnius, because its location.
I lived in Panorama hotel 1 month in February and March 2017. The hotel was shortly excellent. Perfect location. Just few steps from bus stop and railway station and just 5-10 minutes walk from city centre. View from my room was amazing. Also my room was big and quiet. I didn´t hear any noice from streets. Breakfest and especially the diner was very delicious. Imagine that during 30 days I had every day different kind of meal and everytime very tasty. The chefs must be very good. Personal of the hotel was very friendly. I felt like king in this hotel. I hate hotels where I can use only the lift and can´t open the window in my room . Here you can walk on stairs and open the window. Also wi-fi connection was without any problems. In future I will return definetly in this hotel.
I recently stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The room is clean and the breakfast is good. The location and the front desk staff are excellent. Given the overall standard I thought the price was fair. One point to note: there is no A/C in the room. Given the mild summer temperatures in Vilnius that Is probably fine. Overall, a good stay.
On site parking with egress via ANPR so quite secure. A few minutes walk into the picturesque city centre (but even on a Saturday night Vilnius was very quiet after 22:00). Room was bijou and basic but clean. Due to roadworks we arrived later than expected but there were no issues with our later check-in. However; good old ex iron-curtain scrum in reception and the breakfast room. Queueing in reception, the traditional concept of waiting your turn was adhered to but it also involved the 'ladies' behind practicing their scrum techniques with us. At breakfast, the fruit bowl, for example, had apples and oranges but the pears were there cut in half (going brown) - that's a first for us! 'Fruit juice' was colour added to water, not juice or flavouring - your pet goldfish would happily survive thinking it was wearing shades. Interesting looking back but be aware ......
The hotel is located near the train and bus stations. I used airport shuttle of the hotel which cost 18€. The wifi of the hotel was good. What I liked most was the view of the old town from my window.
Very good location and excellent value for money, but overall memory will be how small the room was. The bar closes at 11p.m. so do not expect a nightcap before turning in. Bar prices were a bit pricey, but not budget busting. A mixed bag for staff with the reception being friendly and efficient and most others appearing largely disinterested. (Not typical of our experience when out and about in the town).
No air con, tiny room, dirty carpet, way overpriced took but not as overpriced as the bar ! 4 or 5 euro for vodka or 1/2 pint of local beer worse than London ! Huge mark up . Have to buy bottled water from bar none in room yet sign saying do not drink water is cleansed in room at sink ?!
I dont know what is going wrong with your waitress but it s become worst and worst. First of all price dont stop to grow, particularly drinks and today i should insists to get menu of the day because waitress told me menu of day is only for locals and it s why menu of day it s not translated in english !!!!! I have no words except bravo. I really got use to come 1 or 2 times by week for lunch here but i think i ll change soon my habits. Moreever quality going down, not anymore butter with bread and many small things as it.
Hotel is situated near by Central bus station and Railway station, also bus shuttle to Vilnius aeroport stops in Central bus station. Old city with Aušros vartai is 5-7 min by foot. Nice staff and fast checking in and checking out.
I stayed on this hotel for 3 nights. It's an OK hotel. Close to central station. The staff were OK. The Internet works fine - enough to download and upload photos on the Internet. The breakfast is not the best but enough to not be hungry. The heating radiator in the room is centralized so you can't adjust it by yourself. Unluckily, our room was cold during the first two nights. I only wish i can adjust the heater by myself.
