We stayed for 1 night. The room was quite nice with a good view. Breakfast was delicious. The only issue was with parking, but it was solved with staff help - we chose this hotel because we needed parking for car and when we came, the staff member said that she does not know will there be any place because of the R. Williams concert. I think that they should inform us that if they have some big event in Vingio park, you need to book the parking place. Luckily they found place for our car :)
The property is well maintained, comfortable and the front desk staff very friendly. The staff that was on duty when I checked in on 30/07 afternoon was particularly welcoming. Located next to a large park (forest) there are a lot of walking paths to explore with bike and rollerblade rental at the park center. Some free parking places are available inside the property. The rooms are clean are well maintained. The bedding is also comfortable and like most Crowne Plazas, focus is places on sleep quality. The only downside with the room is only CNN and Euronews English tv channels. Breakfast is acceptable, not great compared to the high standards of everything else at the hotel. Fresh fruit would really be a nice addition to start the day. Hopefully they will add it in the future. I will come again for sure!
This hotel is a bit far away from the old city, so you'd either walk (25min) or get a taxi/bus. However this is a very nice hotel with large rooms, clean and quiet. Higher floor rooms have a great view over the city and parks. Breakfast was very good too.
Stayed for 3 nights in June at the Crown Plaza Vilnius. The hotel benefits from a great location, only 15 minutes walk to old town or 5 minutes taxi ride, the airport is also nearby with the journey only costing 5 euros. The area is nice and leafy with a small shop at 3 minutes walking distance. The corner room we were given had 2 large windows and nice views however the furniture (and the hotel as whole) was rather dated and could do with some refurbishment. Cleanliness was to a very good standard and so was the housekeeping. So overall there wasn't much to write home about about this hotel however it was a great base for our 3 days exploring Vilnius. I have to mention that I sent 3 emails to the hotel asking them what is the best way to get there prior to arrival but no response was received.
Traveled to Vilnius on business recently and stayed at the Crowne Plaza. While clean and tidy the hotel and rooms are a little dated. The hotel is a bit remote, quiet area near a large park. It is located a fair distance (approximately 30 minute walk) from the old town. Dining options at the hotel were average and there really isn't many other offerings near by. Staff were friendly and helpful though.
Had a room upgrade to a two room in the corner, not bad, except that when the upstairs restaurant closed I could hear them moving something on the floor, so it wasn't that quiet. Good breakfast and enough variety.
the hotel is located in the embassies neighbourhood, right by the biggest park in Vilnius. This is the best thing about it. The hotel even offers running maps & free training sessions. The old town is 25-30 min walk. The facilities are outdated, the carpets are dirty, noice AC. Housekeeping is doing a really bad job: from really dirty, stained carpet (had a huge dark stain right ny the desk) to not cleaning the sink or washing the glasses. However everyone in the reception team was amazing. Really cheerful, helpful. Free wifi. Breakfasts were included in the rate, but prefered to skip them in the hotel and have a meal in the downtown. So i can't tell anything about them. 15 min from the airport (night time).
The rooms are cozy but slightly small, Warm and helpful staff and a good breakfast meal served sums up Crowne Plaza. The furnishings seemed old and needs upgrade. Otherwise a comfortable stay in Vilnius. Cheers!
Very good hotel with friendly stuff, clean rooms, not so big pool, jacuzzi, good breakfast with salmon, ham and other delicious food. Free parking. You can get to the centre of the Old town in 20 min.
If you are wanting to take a step back into history, this is your place. Bad fluorescent bulbs, no invention of the arched shower rod or weighted shower curtains. Grim and dark halls and hotel room. Four times the starch compared to protein on your dinner plate. Forget an internet connection. Mine dropped every few minutes, requiring re-logging into the hotel main page. This was certainly a gem during the Soviet era, but I'd rather stay in a hotel that has moved on with the times. Hotel boutique shelves are empty and the window is dressed with the finest acrylic on rope pendants for those precious to you back home.
