I have stayed at this hotel in Dec 2017. I am a Gold member of IHG group and I really like IHG group hotels. I am bit disappointed to see the Crowne Plaza standard. Hotel is quite old. Room size was good but there were no slippers in the room. Even breakfast choices were limited.
Crowne plaza Vilnius disappointed me - rooms were either cold or noisy (to get heat the AC required to be on full rattle!) also very dark as lighting was very poor within the room Breakfast was pretty poor and staff not too interested except to get your room number then you are on your own. The hotel is not in a central location but you can reach the old city in about 15-20mins (walking) From what I could gather the closest bus stop is at least 10mins walk from hotel If returning to Vilnius would not rush to stay here again
Hotel is located not too far from the city center, and it is frequented by business people, tourists and, in my case, international military, alike. Nothing wrong with the hotel; convenient check in, hotel room, mediocre, but satisfactory. Restraurant at the top (16th) floor, gives you a nice view, of the city. Food is certainly ok, but is served fast food restaurant style and nothing has been done to create some sort of atmosphere, which would invite you to stay any longer than absolutely necessary. Breakfast, simple, not overly loaded with niceties one would expect. However, passable.
It is located about 30 minutes walking from the center, but you can use taxi.It costs about 4 euro. There is a super market near this hotel. Clean, good breakfast, BUT the room was cold and there was no way to adjust the temperature. We mention this to the reception staff, they told us that they will fix it, but nothing happened. The room was still cold.
Dirty and cold rooms. Do not look under the bed or you will find dust of recent years. One of saddest roof garden restaurant Breakfast far from standard: do not try Orange Juice. Far from city Center.
We stayed there in order to holiday to Baltic, her hotel is comfortable in the Christmas atmosphere, it snows in the morning. The breakfast buffet is well above average with some specialties, Rooms was fine to get rest and sleep. I highly recommend this hotel
We stayed for 1 night. The room was quite nice with a good view. Breakfast was delicious. The only issue was with parking, but it was solved with staff help - we chose this hotel because we needed parking for car and when we came, the staff member said that she does not know will there be any place because of the R. Williams concert. I think that they should inform us that if they have some big event in Vingio park, you need to book the parking place. Luckily they found place for our car :)
The property is well maintained, comfortable and the front desk staff very friendly. The staff that was on duty when I checked in on 30/07 afternoon was particularly welcoming. Located next to a large park (forest) there are a lot of walking paths to explore with bike and rollerblade rental at the park center. Some free parking places are available inside the property. The rooms are clean are well maintained. The bedding is also comfortable and like most Crowne Plazas, focus is places on sleep quality. The only downside with the room is only CNN and Euronews English tv channels. Breakfast is acceptable, not great compared to the high standards of everything else at the hotel. Fresh fruit would really be a nice addition to start the day. Hopefully they will add it in the future. I will come again for sure!
This hotel is a bit far away from the old city, so you'd either walk (25min) or get a taxi/bus. However this is a very nice hotel with large rooms, clean and quiet. Higher floor rooms have a great view over the city and parks. Breakfast was very good too.
Stayed for 3 nights in June at the Crown Plaza Vilnius. The hotel benefits from a great location, only 15 minutes walk to old town or 5 minutes taxi ride, the airport is also nearby with the journey only costing 5 euros. The area is nice and leafy with a small shop at 3 minutes walking distance. The corner room we were given had 2 large windows and nice views however the furniture (and the hotel as whole) was rather dated and could do with some refurbishment. Cleanliness was to a very good standard and so was the housekeeping. So overall there wasn't much to write home about about this hotel however it was a great base for our 3 days exploring Vilnius. I have to mention that I sent 3 emails to the hotel asking them what is the best way to get there prior to arrival but no response was received.
