Ventura Beach Marriott

3.5 out of 5.0

Hotel about to go threw a renovation. Could hear footsteps and running late evening and early morning as kids ran down the hallways. Showers had good hot water but controls were hard to work. Good proximity to the beach

It's a nice facility in a great location, it's just aging and needs renovation (again). For the price I expected a nicer stay but all in all it was an ok experience. The rooms weren't super clean but the linens were fresh. The beds were ok, nothing to write home about. Not too impressed.

We had a great stay! Very kid friendly and within walking distance to the beach and the Ventura Pier

Unfortunately we stayed at the hotel on the evening of a big wedding reception . Our room was just above the ballroom. It was very loud and we couldn't sleep. Unfortunately the reception didn't end until midnight . They couldn't move us because the hotel was completely full. They offered us free breakfast the next morning . I guess maybe they shouldn't of opened the rooms for guests if it was going to be so loud . Not a very pleasant stay. The hotel common areas ,elevator ,hall floors as well as the room was not very clean and pretty outdated. We are recent Marriott Rewards customers so this was doubly disappointing .

Very nicely appointed with a walk to beach location. Great pool and convenient modern laundry facilities.

Nice looking hotel, lobby was beautiful. Hotel was way too noisy this weekend. Walls are very thin and staff could have accommodated guests better with noise complaints.

my bathroom seemed like an apartment bathroom at best. The rooms need major renovations in my eyes, especially for 200$ a night. And free wifi is a must for every hotel guest, but not here. Self parking is $14 and valet is $16, major head scratcher.

The staff at this property were the most gracious, professional people ever. they made me feel welcome!!!

Anthony the manager was real helpful, he made a potentially bad trip not so bad.

I was there for the Ventura Half Marathon, Excellent location for the event. Overall good. Guess should not have to pay additional for parking.

Called hotel upon returns g home due to jewelry that was a family heirloom. Management was professional empathetic, and quite responsive. Thankfully jewelry was found Staff across the board was quite friendly

Personnel is very friendly and attentive, rooms very clean. Fantastic food in hotel restaurant.

Great staff. Clean nicely remodeled room. It was a quick stay for us, just spent one night. The staff was very friendly. The room was new and clean. Bed was comfortable. We'll be staying here again in the future. Good value. I say book it!

The Ventura Beach Marriott was a very nice and pleasant place to stay. Pros: Close to the beach, the Ventura Harbor, Downtown Ventura. Nice outdoor seating area and pool. Nice Restaurant and Bar. Nice and helpful staff. Cons: $13 charge for parking, Charge for internet access (How can Hotels still charge for Wireless Access?)

Nice pool and hot tub. Nice breakfast buffet. Right next to beach and bike/walking path. Not so nice having to pay for parking ($13/day). But I would definitely go back.

The room was clean and nice. Only bad thing is that you have topsy for parking.

I was not happy at all. Its the marriott! it should represent the name better. I could have stayed somewhere cheaper for all the things i got

Carpeting is old-fashioned and bad-smelling in some areas of a lobby as well as a lift, but a room was spacious and clean.

Excellent, and courtious Staff. Good location.
