Checking in was a hassle until we asked to speak to a manager

Property is right on the beach! It’s very clean and the help is wonderful ‘

I loved the balcony view. Loved how clean the room and bathroom were as well.

It’s ok to stay, nothing to type. Because it match for their 3 star hotel

Loved having a balcony. However there was no beach and tractors were dredging every day. We were told you could walk out of the hotel onto the beach, Not true!!! Had to walk tbrough the bar just to get to the pool.

The property was clean and decorated nicely, but the layout of the room was not good. I got a room with 2 queen beds so my nieces could stay with me one of the nights, but the bathroom door was semi-transparent and was facing the beds in such a way as there was no privacy (and no fan in there either). The toiletries provided also all contained "Goat's Milk" as was written in the front. Gross. We are all vegan and did not appreciate that. Also, many people are lactose intolerant, and most don't take the time to read the tiny bottles... Seems like a dumb idea to have dairy products in your complimentary items.

My room was next to train track, busy street, and several industrial AC on the roof which each of them was pretty noisy and I had all of them. We could not sleep all night and end up to leave in a morning. The front desk informed us that they have no other room and cannot compensate us for the second night as our reservation was through third party. We ended leaving and going back home. I am very disappointed as our vacation was ruined. I am not going to use Orbitz any more.

Our person who checked us in was kind of rude . This really made me feel uncomfortable

Hotel was nice. View was great. Beds were horrible both beds were lumpy and neither one of us got a good nights sleep

Was a beautiful stay and will be returning sooner than later 💗🌅

The restaurant and the food were excellent. Except for the receptionist all other employees were fabulous. The room was not worth the value. Price $345.00. Room was small (hardly any room around a queen size bed) and did not have any additional seating. Looking out onto the roof of the first floor. Got charged for daily parking ($8 for public parking or $16 for valet parking). There was a Navy ball and the people in dining room were extremely loud that we could not hear each other across the table but that is not under the control of the hotel.

Purpose - Do nothing vacation. This was wonderful. Our room was on 6th floor. Spent a lot of time on the balcony sipping coffee and just watching people, dogs, bikes, surfers, and of course, the ocean. Beautiful weather. Very relaxing. The only down side is that the 101 freeway is 300 feet from the hotel. Constant traffic noise, but we knew that when we booked it.

The only nice hotel in the area, right on the boardwalk. Pool is small for the hotel of this size. Elevators had some problems. Not cheap by any stretch.

Love seeing and hearing the ocean crash onto the shore from our room. Strongly dislike the hard beds. Only Ventura hotel on the water. Have to take the good with the bad.

I stayed here for Christmas while my parents stayed at a nearby RV resort. It was a great location with a beautiful view of the beach. Best of all - they're pet friendly. Be sure to call the hotel to let them know you have a dog, though, because you'll be relegated to the 2nd-4th floors. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. Only downside was that one elevator was being renovated and the second one was out of service, so they only had one elevator working. Small thing, really, in the scheme of things. Made it in time to enjoy a gorgeous sunset from my balcony, which was also a great bonus. Great value for the location.

Remodeled, comfortable, smartly designed guest room. The majority of room here will have an ocean view. Right on the beach! Short stroll to the pier. Loved that it was a short walk to downtown Ventura. Breakfast buffet was good and reasonably priced. The drawbacks are that it’s right off the freeway, and right next to the train tracks. You will hear them, even with slider closed. Opt for valet parking. Self parking structure is sketchy.

Had problems with my reservation. I was told I never did a reservation. I was in the wrong place. They couldn't find my name. Then the employee said I reserved 11 rooms. It was a hassle triying to find my reservation.

After a late nite gig, we checked into the hotel and headed to the bar for a “closer”. There we found a few people closing the nite after a wedding they attended. Great hotel staff!, beach close by, we’ll go back........

Hotel is situated on the best spot in Ventura, yet my room looked right into the parking garage. No jaccuzi or hot tub at the pool. ELEVATORS WERE SO SLOW THAT I ALWAYS HAD TO TAKE THE STAIRS. And had to take stairs to get ice. Slow service at counters. Dog show in town. Dogs whimpering in rooms on both sides. Disappointed :( -bb p.s. Valet parking is kind of a racquet, because they end up pulling your car around to right next to where the car was parked as opposed to where you give them the ticket. Might as well park it yourself.

This was a nice location, right on the beach, but within walking distance to downtown area. Very clean. We were upgraded to a king suite and it was amazing. Huge room, very clean and comfortable bed. The staff was very nice. The pool was nice and they had staff come out to take your food or drink order which was nice. Would stay here again.
