Special, early twentieth century house, completely restored, with independent entrance, located on the ground floor, with a small private garden, near Venice, in a quiet area in the center of Mestre; the tram and bus stop is a hundred meters from the house.
The Tram and the bus that takes you to Venice runs every ten minutes.
Venice can be reached by bus or tram in just twenty minutes.
The house has every comfort: kitchen with microwave, air conditioning, fast wireless connection, 1 bedroom with double bed, en-suite bathroom.
For more than two people, a second bedroom on request.
Minimum stay one week.
If you want to visit other cities besides Venice (Milan, Turin, Verona, Trieste, Florence, Rome, etc.) the Mestre railway station is a very important hub for all of Italy.

    Pleasant, practical alternative

    This large 2-room apartment offers an economical and convenient alternative to staying in the center of Venice. It looks clean, feels new, and has uncommonly practical furnishings for its price range. (Desk, enough places to sit, large comfortable bed, new refrigeraor and induction stove, etc.) The neighborbood is residential and quiet, with a supermarket a short walk in one direction and a stop (Ca' Rossa-Bissuola) for the T1 monorail tram to Piazzale Roma in Venice even closer in the other. The owner, Mara, is very welcoming and responsive. One should be prepared for the narrow bathroom. It makes the best it can of the space the floor plan affords, but the more flexible one is, the better.

    Comfortable and Convenient

    I loved this property. It was exactly as advertised. The public transit is nearby, making it very easy to get to Venice. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe, good for families. Mara was very helpful when I needed help (when the power went out, she was quick to help me get it back on and tell me why it shut off). The only two issues I had were that the neighbors were a bit noisy late in the night. It was requested that I be quiet around 10pm(22:00), but they would be awake and loudly talking sometimes at midnight or later. Also, I didn't quite understand how to get inside the front gate during check in, and was let in by a neighbor. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this property, and recommended it!

    Die Wohnung liegt sehr günstig in einer ruhigen Lage (Sackgasse) in Venezia/Mestre. In der Straße gibt es Parkmöglichkeiten gegen Gebühr (Ganztagsparken 8 €). Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich ein Supermarkt mit allem was man braucht. Wenn man 5 bis 10 min läuft, erreicht man die Bus/Tram/Haltestelle Mestre-Centrum, von da aus kann man für 1,50 € direkt nach Venedig fahren (Ticketautomaten an der Haltestelle). Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und zu empfehle. Falls es sich ergibt, würden wir diese Wohnung wieder nehmen. Ein wirkungsvolles Gerät kühlt die Wohnung ab, auch bei 34°c. Micheline & Guy

    Le logement est spacieux, en cuisine il y a le nécessaire. Bien desservi en transport en commun. On a bien apprécié la climatisation vue la chaleur qu’il a fait pendant notre séjour. Le point négatif: le bruit des enfants au-dessus à partir de 6h30 du matin ! Certains photos de l’annonce ne sont plus d’actualité, plus de chaises dans la chambre, plus de canapé noir, beaucoup des meubles ont changé .

    Herrlich erholsam! Sehr ruhige Lage, freundliche Nachbarschaft, nur wenige Meter zu Fuß zu einer Pasticceria, einem Supermarkt mit großer Gemuse- und Obstauswahl, Fleisch-, Käse- und Fischtheke, oder zur Tram T1 oder dreihundert Meter weiter dem Schnellbus 4L zur Pallazale Roma und den Vaporetti in Venedig. Großer Wohn-/Essraum mit Küche, Induktionsherd und Kühl- und Gefrierschrank. Großes Bett für zwei Personen und Duschraum/WC mit Tageslicht. Nette Sitzmöglichkeit an einem Tisch im kleinen Garten. Die Vermieterin antwortet schnell, sehr kompetent und gastfreundlich auf etwaige Fragen.

    Excellent séjour chez Mara

    Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Mara, le logement était mieux que ce que nous imaginions ! Il est proche du tram pour aller au centre de Venise. Appartement propre, il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Mara fait preuve de rapidité pour répondre aux messages. Nous avons juste été surprises par la taxe d'habitation qui était plus élevée que ce qui était indiqué dans la description de l'annonce.

    Nice and convenient stay in Mestre

    This 1 bedroom flat is very cosy and convenient for a stay in Mestre. Location is great - very quiet area close to public transport, the city centre and a big supermarket. The flat is very warm (except the last night when the heating stopped working for no reason) and the space is comfortable for 2 people. The bathroom is ok, we didn't understand from the description that the shower is in the middle of the bathroom and so the whole room gets wet when you shower. We didn't really cook, so no possibility to comment on the kitchen equipment - it was ok for breakfast.
