Paulo was a wonderful host and made check in very convenient. He showed us how everything worked, and made sure we had everything we needed. This is a fabulous place to stay in Venice! This was our second time here and will stay here again if we come back. It is so conveniently located - close to all the water bus stops and only about a 15 minute walk into San Marco square. It is away from the main tourist area and very quiet. There are great little neighborhood restaurants a supermarket close by. The home is well-stocked and had everything we needed along with very comfortable beds. I highly recommend this home!!!

Paolo was an amazing host. He was very communicative up and during our stay. He offered great recommendations for restaurants and museums to visit in Venice. The apartment was very clean and the beds and linen very comfortable. The location was quiet although it was close to the water, we could not hear anything during the evening.The location was amazing. It was close to the vaprettos which we used for a day trip to Burono and Murono. We highly recommend staying at Nel cuore di Venezia. If we find ourselves back in Venice one day, we would definitely stay at Nel cuore di Venezia again.

Delightful cozy apartment on Venice Island

Our host, Paolo, started our wonderful experience here even before we arrived. His prompt and enthusiastic communications with us provided very helpful and useful information that helped us navigate efficiently from Marco Polo Airport to the Fondamente Nuove boat stop seamlessly. The apartment was clean and renovated with modern appliances. It was a charming stay with perfect proximity to everything we needed, even a three minute walk to the boat stop. Paolo explained everything about the apartment thoroughly and made some great recommendations for restaurants and pasticcerias and more. He was always responsive to our every need. Great place to stay!

Secure building, immaculaty clean apartment with all the conveniences you would need well thought of from the host. Very convenient, clean and lovely welcome

I cannot rate the owner and this property too highly. Communication was easy, we were met in person and shown around. Everything is very clean and well organised. The owner reassured us that we could contact them if needed and gave us some local recommendations too. Very close to the vaporette stop, local shops and cafe but quiet at night for sleeping. We will definitely choose this property again

Amazing place - super clean & modern

Our stay in Paolo’s apartment was wonderful and I’d definitely stay there again. It was clean, spacious and modern. The beds were comfortable and they’d thought of everything, including a converter plug from Australian to European power points. There was air conditioning in all the rooms, a dishwasher and washing machine and an indoor washing line and outdoor typical Venetian washing line. The place was immaculately clean and the kitchen was well equipped. They supplied enough toilet paper/dishwashing liquid for our 3 night stay and even provided detergent for the washing machine. The apartment was not in the middle of the tourist area, which we enjoyed as it was quieter, but was a 1 minute walk from the fondamente Nove vaparetti stop. It was about 25 min walk to piazza San Marco. The only tiny things I’d improve upon, were that the shower was quite small and the shower head extended too far out from the wall relative to the size if the shower, and the spin cycle on the washing machine left the clothes still quite wet after they were washed, which meant that they too longer to dry. So the place was very close to perfect! The communication with Paolo was fantastic as he set up a WhatsApp group for any questions and sent us information. He also arranged for someone to meet us at the fondamente nove vaparetto stop and show us to the apartment.

Great Location

Paolo, the property manager was very friendly and helpful in getting our luggage up the stairs! We were on the first floor, of course that means the second floor to us Americans. Haha. The apartment is very nice. 600+ sq ft doesn’t sound like much but is actually plenty of room for a family of 3-4. We had 3 adults. Awesome location for the Waterbus/Vaporetta, it was literally at the end of the alley. Good luck figuring out the Waterbus lines and schedule. I watched a YouTube video and finally got it.

Perfect Location

Perfect location

This is a gem! The location is perfect arriving by boat from the airport, going to day trips to the islands (Murano, Burano, Torcello), going to Rialto, San Marco square, La Fenice theater and even visiting the Biennale Exbition (Arsenale and Biennale gardens). Paolo was the perfect Host (among my VRBO rentals host, Paolo was absolutely the best). I highly recommend this place!

Great stay in Venice !

3 of us stayed for 2 nights in this apartment. Venice is amazing ! Definitely not enough time here. We arrived by train and very easy to get on water bus. The Fondamenta Nuove stop is only a few steps from the door of the apartment. We had no problem reaching it with all of our bags. Unfortunately, we did not have the chance to meet Paolo, but check in with Natascia was easy and Paolo was extremely attentive to our needs while staying in the apartment. He quickly arranged a private water taxi for us last minute on our morning of departure as the high water prevented the water bus from taking us to the train station. The apartment was clean, the bedrooms were the best part as they were very large yet cozy and comfortable. TV has Netflix among other options to watch at night which was nice. Shower small, which is common in Italy, it didn’t bother us. We were the 3 women (15, 34 and 60 ) and we felt very safe in the apartment as well as the area around. Quiet residential area tucked away yet close enough to walk everywhere and trust me, you want to walk this beautiful place. Coffee and pastry right out the door .. in the morning it comes alive, at night very quiet. All in all a great apartment to stay. Thank you Paolo, we hope to be back here sometime.

This is a great apartment. It was very clean and Paolo did a fantastic job communicating with us prior to our trip. It is right next to a water taxi stop and just one block from the water. It is in a quieter section of Venice which means you avoid all the crowds but an walk to all the sights. Highly recommend this apartment!

We were very pleased with the property. The owner Paolo was very friendly and assessable for any questions. Apartment was clean, nicely laid out and as advertised. The location was a nice balance of being close to one of the key water taxi stops, in a relatively quiet area and yet only a 15 -20 min walk to most of the key sites.
