This hotel has 4 stars, the classification is bad. It does not deserve even 3 stars. It was dust everywhere in the room, the carpet was not clean since long time. During our stay, the cleaning was done quickly: towels are thrown on the shelves in the bathroom, there is no space to hang the towels, only one hang for 2 persons. One shower gel and one shampoo for 2 people, one cap for 2 people, 1st day they put only 2 shampoos, no shower gel at all. During our stay the bed was very badly done, I don't do the bed in the hotel and I don't care, but when a 4 star hotel just arrange the sheets even not holding nicely and carefully then what's the reason for a 4 star hotel. Bad experience at the breakfast, we took it around 7.15. On our 1st day we had no pastry, it was empty, no yogurt, poor breakfast. The tea was available only at 7.45, the breakfast isn't at 7am? Last day we had to leave early for airport, we enter in the restaurant at 6.57 am, the guy started to yell that the breakfast is in 5 minutes and he left us out and closed the door. Of course again nothing is ready at 7am. Bad quality of coffee, cheese, orange juice (so bad orange juice), bad quality of bread, not for a 4 stars hotel. There is a bus going to Venise right next to the hotel, it is always full of people. I regret not choosing a hotel in the center of mestre, there is tramway with air condition. I regret my chose for pur trip in Venise and i dont recommande this hotel. It needs a full deep cleaning and a reclassification.
Comfortable hotel with modern interior. Good size room with bathroom. Air con didn't work, or at least we couldn't fathom how to do it! Great location, bus passes to Venezia available to purchase from reception for a small price. Make sure you activate your bus pass when getting on the bus though! Bus station is just to the right of the hotel as you come out of reception. Breakfast was ok, cold meats and cheese mainly, lots of pastries. Could offer a little more selection. We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, I would definitely recommend it for a short break with easy access to Venice. Thank you
Used this hotel as park of a Group-on short trip stay. Looking at the pictures of the hotel we didn't accept to much, but on our arrival it was obvious that this hotel was not as it seemed from its appearance. the hotel rooms were very comfortable and very clean. the bathroom was a Little small and the rain-head shower was leaking all over the floor but this was fixed very quickly. all the staff were very helpful and polite especially the young lady that help me book an emergency flight back to the UK due to an emergency. the hotel is in an area called Mestre which is a short bus ride into the City.the busses are regular but can get rather over crowded roamer ticket can be purchased from the local shop near the bus stop for around 40 Euros for 72hrs. All in all a good place to stay when visiting Venice.
Stayed at the Apogia Sirio over the last weekend for my birthday...no real complaints as the room was fine and the a/c worked a treat, staff friendly and efficient. Bit awkward to get to from the airport, we got the 15 bus into Mestre centre then had a 20min+ walk, better to get the shuttle bus to the train station then get the no.2. Sadly there was a transport strike on my birthday which rather spoiled the day, but overall a very good hotel.
The hotel is modernized but the rooms are still very small. Pack lightly because there isn't a lot of space for large luggage. The rooms are clean too. The staff is very good and helpful getting around Venice and most speak good English. They can get you cheap round trip bus tickets if you need them. We didn't eat at the restaurant but found it odd that it closed at 10pm while other local restaurants were still open for a while.
This Hotel is Perfect as a Base for your day Trips into Venice. It is a typical City Hotel. The Staff were really Friendly and Helpful. A big Thank You to you all, especially to Veronica and Little Joseph. Wonderful people and a pleasure to meet. We really didn't know what to expect, as we had never been to Venice before, however, We were only 50 Yards from the Bus stop (No.2) that takes you directly into the main Area at the start of Venice. From there you can get the tickets at the ACTV ticket office for the Vaporetto water buses all around the city. We purchased a 2 day pass and saved money, it allows you to use the buses and some trains too. We even went to the Lido for half a day. The hotel has everything you need, we had wi-fi, which worked perfectly. The breakfast which was included was all you can eat with a limited selection of English but a great selection of continental dishes. When in Rome!! The Bar/lounge area is very comfy. It has a section where you can sit outside which was quite relaxing. We Arrived around 11.00am and Check in wasn't until 14.00pm, however we could leave our suitcases in a Locked secure luggage room. There is a Main Square in Mestre about 1km from the Hotel, which has a few Bars with seating outside which was really relaxing. The Room was clean and basic, with Air-Conditioning and had maid service every morning. We made arrangements through the hotel to be collected from the Airport and Taken back on our day of leaving. this was all done through e-mail and very easy. We were met at the Airport with a welcome smile and our Names on a Card. Celebrity Status! A beautiful pristine Mercedes Leather clad Minibus with a very Chatty Pleasant Driver Got us There and back safely. I have absolutely No Complaints with all the Services we received and would recommend it to anyone. If you want 5 star Service, you'll get it. We Did.
Would recommend this hotel for location as nbr 2 bus is a few steps away and in about 15 min you are in Venice. As far as the hotel goes asked to changed our first room and they were helpful as 2 women on the ground floor with huge window that opened up to a laneway (someone could easily walk in due to its size). Unfortunately we were there 1 week and the internet worked on our last night there.....very disappointing.I also spoke to Hotel re breakfast service. On our 2nd day there was a group which arrived the evening before and just overnighted however as the were leaving in the morning the hotel did not put out a lot of the usual food such as yogurt, fruit and sweets . We were told come back in an hour after they leave and they then brought out the regular breakfast however this than happened each day till we left and as we also had early departures to go visiting we were penalized. On our last day they never served the proper breakfast and when I brought this up they just said sorry...If you needed internet needed to go to Cafe Patricio just next door lovely people and very good cafe. So I would rate the breakfast as very average as coffee was awful and the bacon was plentiful but not cooked.....
It's an older hotel but renovated. Our twin rooms was quite small rooms. The furniture is ok, nothing special. Bathroom is nice but also small. The breakfast is included and is very good. Parking at the hotel is expensive, €20 per day. Staff ok. Bus stop not far, so Venice is easy to reach.
The room itself looked pretty new and modern, very clean so cant fault it! Bathroom was spotless and looked pretty new also!! Bus stop about 150 meters away with the number 2 bus taking you straight into venice.
The hotel is nicely located close to the centre of Mestre. Not far from the train station. 40 meter from the bus stop to Venice that costs 3 EUR return. The room is good, bath room is bad very small hard can move when taking shower. Big sound coming from the drains no place to hang towels or dress. Breakfast is normal not really wow and i wouldn't give tje hotel more than 3 stars. The from office staff are great and very welcoming and helpful
