Nice hotel, clean and tidy but be ready to travel at least 20min bus to the Venice transfer area. Lovely staff and a nice typical European breakfast. Good value for the price so keep that in mind as accommodation actually IN Venice can be on the higher end.
If you travel to Venice and dont want to spend too much money in hotels on the island this hotel is quite good option. Its location is in Mestre and is about 20mins by bus from the island of Venice. The bus stop is number 6 and is about 800m from the hotel and you dont need to change to go to main bus station in Venice. The hotel is clean and has comfortable rooms. Only its staff sometimes doesnt understand english especially when you call them from the room. You can easily find it when travelling by car. The biggest disadvantage of the hotel is parking. They charge 10EUR for one day. If you dont want to pay that money you can park your car for free on few parking places of the opposite petrol station(which I did) or you can park your car in nearby street named Via della fonte which is just behind the hotel.
Have stayed in quite a few holiday innes and this one is not the best. Asked for upgrade as my partner is spire elite and the room we were given was average at best. No bath only shower no little extras like water (considering the heat) and towelling robes only little things but make a difference. Staff ok apart from one woman on front desk who was not at all helpful when trying to sort out directions and transport to railway station. This hotel is miles away from Venice and if you book the hotels bus it's at a cost. There are no direct bus routes so unless you want a taxi no alternative. The hotel is situated on a main rd with a petrol station right in front of it ( not shown in any photos) Not the romantic venice I was hoping for would not use again.
spent few days in Venice Italy stayed 4 nights at this location. the hotel staff made it terrible to deal with them, they made sure you know that you are bothering them, they huff and puff when answering your questions, they are quick to dismiss you, their business center (printer) was not functioning so in order to print our train and flights boarding passes we had to ask for their help (they will print the documents from their own computers) and this was horrible experience, 11.00 pm they were not busy but they made sure to tell you we have other things to do. and if you ask a question about the transportation, the AC in the room they made sure you know they you are bothering them. the wake up call was definitely untimely, every time you call or go down to the reception desk they are abrupt regardless who is working at the reception desk. we spent 4 nights with the same treatment. staff not helpful. breakfast was great but room service and pizza were terrible, worst pizza in Italy. will definitely never stay with them again. REGARDING YOUR BELOW QUESTIONS: the staff did not explain if they have self service laundry, or gym and since we were not interested we did not dare asking
My boyfriend and I recently stayed in this hotel for three nights while visiting Venice for the first time and it was overall a really pleasant stay, with some minor annoyances such as noise late at night and really early in the morning, making it hard to sleep. We were located on the first floor (even though I had asked to switch to a higher floor based on reviews of loud noise) and there seemed to always be people, locals we think, running around the hallways, slamming doors, trying to open doors, laughing and yelling really loud... Always around 12 to 2 or even 3 am and then again around 6 am, it was kind of annoying so we had to turn our fan on to high to drown out the noise. Other than that, the hotel was lovely. Our room was perfect, the service was very good, and the bus (number 6) was located a short walk away and took us straight to Venice for only 6 euro round trip (for two people), much cheaper than their shuttle. We didn't get breakfast there, but we did order room service pizza once and it was surprisingly good for the price value. The only reason we had room service was because we discovered Al Calesse (the greatest Italian restaurant, located right down the street) was closed in Tuesdays. But none the less, we had a great stay and would stay here again but would need to be on a higher floor.
Great hotel only 10 min to Venice bus station. Could not be better. Two buses stop outside hotel no 5/19. Could not find any fault with Hotel. Staff great, breakfast that was included in our stay was first class. Rooms and beds very good. (Pillows fantastic for me.)
We stayed here for 2 nights during our tour. Its a nice hotel but not in the city centre, but the hotel has an excellent shuttle bus service into town. The bus stop is a 15 minute walk.Good buffet breakfast with hot food. The gas station outside serves coffee and crousonts.
We unexpectedly stayed here one night when our easyjet flight was cancelled. Lovely that the airlines covered all costs. The hotel staff was delightful and accommodating. Seemed like a lot of tour bus groups stayed here since out of the way from main Venice sights. But we learned it is a short 10 minute walk to city bus 6 or if you want to wait, the hotel shuttle goes into Venice starting around 9:30 and charges 9€. The rooms are worn out but suffice. The best part of the hotel is their buffet breakfast! Awesome selection of cheeses, meats, pastries, fruits, and a nice self-serve cappuccino machine. Thank you EasyJet and Holiday Inn for an extra night in Venice.
I stayed here as part of my Contiki Simply Italy tour. It was probably the nicest place we stayed during the entire tour. THE BED WAS SO AMAZINGLY COMFY!!!!! Also a very nice bathroom and shower. 5 stars.
Just came back from a 3 night stay at this hotel for my wedding anniversary. Had taxi from airport which cost 45 euros, on the return though we booked through the hotels shuttle bus service and it only cost us 35 euros, the hotel doesn't book this for you but when you see the shuttle bus outside you book with them. Arrived about 10.30 am so was way too early but the receptionist rang up and had a room ready within half hour. Used the private shuttle bus on first day and 3rd day, 9euros each return.had no problems but would recommend booking in advance as it does get busy.2nd day caught the no 6 bus into Venice instead of shuttle bus. You pay for ticket at reception, 1.50 euros each, one way so 6 euros in total for the 2 of us return.reception has maps showing how to get to bus stop, only about 10 mins walk and easy to find. This was our 2nd time in Venice in last few months as I love it there.we paid the 20 euros each on the one day for a travel card that you can use on the water taxis, used this to visit Venice Lido, such a lovely place and would highly recommend it.had lush burrito in the beach bar Blue Moon, stunning.the beach was lovely, you do get a lot of people trying to sell beach mats and perfumes etc but they weren't that much of an issue. We didn't eat in the restaurant but we did order pizza and bottle of wine through room service and it was delicious. The garage by the hotel sells snacks and wines also and a lot cheaper. All in all I would recommend this hotel, credit to the staff, really helpful and I would definitely return here.
