Clean and comfortable and perfect for our business stay which we combined with a leisure trip. Having the two separate areas made it easy for one of us to work while the other rested/relaxed. The complimentary evening social was an added bonus. Only smalll complaint was that there was some noise for a period of time from the running toilet upstairs.
This hotel has been consistently great since I've been going here for 15yrs. From the breakfast to the staff everything is five star. For the price, you get great rooms and amenities. Will stay everytime
Very comfortable spacious accommodations. Very friendly and helpful staff. The complimentary happy hour and breakfast service was excellent. I arrived just as happy hour ended but the staff made sure I was able to fix a plate and poured me a glass of wine. I was exhausted and this simple attentive touch made me feel welcomed and appreciated.
From the time you walked into the hotel, you felt right at home. There were Christmas decorations in the lobby that gave it a very welcoming touch. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and personable. We had a king suite that was amazing! I don't think we've ever stayed in one that was so large. Roomy, comfortable bed with plenty of pillows, Plush towels with a clean bathroom, TV in bedroom and in living room, plenty of kitchen stuff to make a meal and thick walls. I'd love to come back to enjoy the pool and BBQ area in the summer!
I enjoyed my stay as the service was great, sleep quality was excellent, and the location was right where you'd want it to be! I would choose to stay here anytime I was looking for a temporary home away from home! You won't be disappointed with your stay or the hospitality.
I was in Vancouver for a 3 day business training. The hotel gave me the option to eat in or out, was very clean and priced well. Staff was fantastic and location was easy in and out. The restaurants in the area were good and the Fred Meyer near by was a plus.
I felt so comfortable here, so much like a home away from home. Here's why. My "room" was actually three rooms - a living room/kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. They have double doors between the bedroom and living room so I could make my bedroom cozier at night. The breakfast bar is excellent with healthy, tasty food like I would make at home. They had a welcome evening with wine, beer, and appetizers which made me feel truly welcomed along with the staff who seemed to remember me and say hi in a friendlier way than just passing. And I love the fact that I can step out the door and head out on the bike/pedestrian path along the river for a long walk to unwind. Easy on/off the highway too so it was super easy to get into Vancouver or Portland for a nice dinner. Would definitely stay here again.
Stayed three night around the Thanksgiving weekend. We split the nights over two stays- so had two different rooms both on first floor. Rooms are located in building surrounding a central courtyard where you check-in, have breakfast and basketball court, tennis court and outdoor pool and hot tub. Outdoor pool was closed, but hot tub was open. Check-in was hectic with a least a 5 minute wait as one family in front of us and non-stop phone calls coming in. We were a bit frazzled ourselves after a long bumper-to-bumper drive through Portland before Thanksgiving. Front desk was super-friendly and gave us room on first floor. Room included a king bedroom for parents ( double doors just click shut, no lock) and sofa bed for kids in the livingroom/kitchen area. Everything looked brand-new and spotless. Kitchen area came in handy as we picked up fresh veggies, dumpling and other BBQ items to eat in room. Had to ask for a steamer and fry pan from front desk. Fry pan yes, steamer no. Breakfast area really warm with gas fireplace- all kinds of tables and couches. Great coffee, and quality eggs, sausage, ham- waffles, fresh fruit. The only I did not care for was the constant sound of TV in the eating area. It is rare people can find time time to eat together as a family without the whine of TV. Many other properties leave TV's on but turn on mute so people can enjoy each others company instead of the media. One day while others were shopping- we took advantage of the sun trying out both the basketball hoops and tennis courts. Lots of fun! If one had enough time - you could explore the neighborhood - coffee shop and view of Columbia river. Easy on and off the freeway- Exit 1 as soon as you cross I5 from Oregon. Cleaning staff and maintenance keep rooms immaculate. Relaxing and quiet stay.
Really enjoyed the stay at the Homewood Suites in Vancouver. It is literally steps away from a walking path next to the Columbia River. The staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast and dinner service was generous and tasty. The King Suite was laid out well and was clean and comfortable. Love that it is pet friendly!
Great location, rooms could be better equipped for cold, but nice place. Help in kitchen would be nice to supervise people eating, although some people are just pigs and don’t care about others but staff should be present to control people and there rude and roust kids
