Coast Hotel & Convention Centre Langley City

The amount of pedestrian, vehicle and tour bus traffic associated with the casino was a definite drawback. The room was great and reasonably priced. The hotel staff were great. If you are wanting a quiet stay I would recommend Coast and, for that matter, other hotel establishments not aligned with casinos.

We have stayed at the Coast Hotel & Convention Centre in the past and recently stayed again in June 2017. Their rates are reasonable and they don't seem to adjust their rates based on demand. The rooms are clean and large with plenty of room to move about. The rooms are starting to look a bit dated so hopefully some upgrades are planned in the next year or two.

The stay was fun, the staff was great, and I'll be back to enjoy the hospitality! The hotel is ideally located for the purpose of my stay. Also, I do enjoy the casino and the shows. It has been my 15th stay there, anywhere from 3 to 10 days.

Great hotel option in Langley- Highlights- Clean, neat and great location casino at the hotel restaurant at the hotel close to restaurants, malls and movie theatre good size fitness room with good variety of equpiment- only 3 cardio machines but free weights, universal and yoga ball

Stayed one night to visit with friends & family. Hotel was everything I needed and expected. The Spa connected to the hotel was an added bonus I enjoyed. Would definitely recommend this property and I would return.

The hotel itself is very clean and quiet despite it having a casino off the lobby. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. There is a Starbucks in the lobby which is handy. Also, there's a small spa and fitness room on the main floor. If you're a gambler than you'll find the casino a good size with many many slot machines. I'm not sure how many card tables there are as I don't routinely gamble. The Match public house is a restaurant just off the casino and the food is really good. I do however caution you about eating at the buffet at the entrance of the casino. Though the servers are quick to seat you, the food is, well, kind of terrible. You could see the layer of oil/grease on the food and a lot of the options were deep fried. The nice part about this hotel is that it's easy to find so go out and explore (and find a restaurant). Im not sure it's great hotel for kids as it's definitely got an adult tone with the casino. The staff were friendly and I would stay here again.

The rooms are a bit dated and the headboard was dirty. This was my first stay away from home alone since having a child almost 3 years ago and sometime I was looking forward to the most was ordering room service for breakfast. Unfortunately, they don't answer their phone (tried over 10 times over a period of 45 mins). We stayed at this hotel when we got married 9 years ago, so I was pretty excited to come back, but this will be the last time. Not worth the money.

Stayed one night on my way through to Vancouver. Thought it would be nice to be connected to the casino for food and entertainment purposes. Room price was pretty cheap too. This isn't a large hotel, and the rooms are just a bit dated. I loved the fact that it had a mini fridge in it though, always nice for chilling beverages. Check in was quick and hassle free and friendly. Parking was free, which is fantastic. There's a Starbucks in the lobby, so easy access to coffee...yay! Also the lobby is right off the casino entrance. I found the bed less than comfortable, woke up to a pretty stiff back. The walls in this place are paper thin too.....I could hear the conversations of the guests on one side and the tv on the other. Was a bit irritating when trying to get some sleep. Overall, it was decent value for money and sort of what I was expecting. It's not a bad choice especially being attached to the casino (and Match which is a great restaurant) but the thin walls and uncomfortable bed is what made me give it an 'average' rating.

I did not pay for the room, so unsure of price-to-value comparison. Big comfortable beds! Two nights in early Mar 2017. However, cannot adjust the water pressure (so waste a lot of water). The water in the shower is either full on, or off. The temperature changes, but not the pressure. No shower caddy. Lifts can be busy, but no issue. The quality of the toilet paper was less than expected. Buffet breakfast pleasant. Cash machine on site. Is part of the casino which is good for a wander but offers nothing (dark lighting, depressing, morose). Town itself is just a block away, and twenty minutes from Fort Langley historical centre. Major shops two blocks away. Just a large motel, over five floors. A little 1970s/80s carpet and walls, but quite adequate and comfortable.

We stayed here 2 nights in March 2017. I had booked a 2 bed accessible room and when we got to the room, it had 1 bed which was unacceptable. We had no trouble changing rooms but they had no 2 bed accessible rooms so we took a regular 2 bed room. The toilets in this hotel are the older type and low to the floor so are hard to use even for an otherwise able bodied but arthritic senior & impossible for a disabled one. For that reason, we can not stay here again. Hotel guest parking does not exist. You have to hope when you get there, there is a spot across from the doors or you have to park and walk across a lane of traffic from the main casino parking lot with your luggage to the hotel. There is no valet parking nor are their bellhops. You are on your own. For a convention centre, I find this rather lacking. Other than that though, I cannot fault them for anything. Mary, at the front desk was super helpful in making the reservation (had to do it online and then change things by phone after). Check in was simple fast and accurate. They changed our room with no problem at all. The beds were really comfortable and the room, #303, was large. Would ave liked to e able to plug my cell phone in to charge on the table next to the bed instead of across the room though. We had the buffet Sunday night which was prime rib. On previous stays, the buffet fell far short of stellar, but this time it was good on the Sunday & Monday nights. The two for one breakfast for $7.99 can't be beat though the coffee and orange juice brought it up to $20 with a tip! Was still a good meal and the OJ was Minute Maid and came in a big bottle. The staff in the restaurant was excellent. The casino was good. It giveth and taketh away. Someone was walking around with a beverage cart with drinks and snack. I would recommend this hotel. It is a nice place, good sleep, great staff but not a luxury or full service hotel.
