The property is dated although the lobby has been renovated not much else has. Bed are old, so are the pillows and most other things in the room. Bathroom was tiny. No sound barrier between floors. First floor near the front desk is noisy. ‘Continental’ breakfast was terrible to say the least, plus it was served on the second floor at the very far end of the hotel. Staff were rude and unaccomodating. Just go read the online reviews to see the comments about staff and the hotel itself. Not a lot of good reviews and I should have taken those into consideration before booking there. We had to check out early and they immediately told us we were 100% responsible for the full 4 nights (situation out of our control (forest fire) near our home and threatening it and evacuation notice) and the dront deal manager did not care one bit and wouldn’t budge at all even though we all know at the end of summer when vacation season is high they would have filled those nights again no problem. Just all round bad hotel, bad experience, bad management.

For some reason, there was dried cleaner on the toilet that was waxy, and the breakfast is very limited selection, and depending on the day certain staff lack refilling the breakfast trays. As well as there is only one waffle cooker and it takes three minutes times that by 20 people. It takes a while to get a waffle but other than that, the beds were pretty good and the rooms were pretty clean.

My stay was terrible! Couldn’t use the jet tub. Was leaking, so it smelled like wet carpet. Also something sharp sticking through the carpet near the tub. Then the air conditioner started making big noises at 3am. Woke me up and I had to turn it off. Told the guy at the desk when I checked out. All he said was thanks for telling him. Won’t recommend staying there
