Everything is good for this hotel except for the remote location. You may be able to enjoy their ride service for free from Zermatt station to this hotel when you check in. Try to have a dinner here since their chef could make a really nice dishes.
Great place to stay and awesome staff and location
I had read mixed reviews about the remote location of the hotel. My fears were unfounded however. In fact, i loved the location, set back from "downtown" Zermatt. We came to Zermatt to disconnect and go on hikes... not to stroll/shop on the main street. And everytime you retrun to the hotel you are greeted by the majestic mattherhorn as a backdrop. Two delicious restaurants a 5minute walk to the hotel (and there is also the hotel restaurant, but its all about grilled meat). Quality linens and towels and extensive spa/sauna facilities.
