The original owners, Hank and Lena Elliott, were two of the original settlers in the Vail Valley. Their granddaughter, who still lives in the valley, authored a book detailing parts of their journey with original pictures of the cabin. While relaxing in the hot tub, enjoy views of either Gore Creek or the National Forest. The furniture in the family is extremely comfortable. Snuggle into the oversized, down-filled sofa and read about the history of the cabin in the book written by one of Lena's granddaughters. The kitchen is well-equipped with Kitchen-Aid applainces, and there is a large dining table that will seat at least 8 people.
