TIVOLI Lodge is very well located to the lifts and village. The facilities are well appointed and maintained and the service is responsive and courteous. It is difficult to get lodging that is not stupid expensive in Vail. This is a comfortable and convenient option that is expensive, but not ridiculously so.

I stayed for one week. Good location but hotel condition is not good. Their water system comes a goes. I was in the shower and the water suddenly stopped. I called the front desk and they told me it happens periodically and to just give it a few minutes. Really? It happened periodically alright. Everyday. And when the water came back, there was no hot water. At the end of my vacation, when I returned home I saw, to my surprise, that I was charged $410.94 in additional fees. When I called them to ask what these charges were they told me it was for resort fees and taxes. I thought I had paid all that upfront in my initial booking and I wasn't made aware of any future additional charges. So in addition to their water problems and lack of hot water, there are additional hidden fees to contend with. Additional hidden fees that are in the hundreds of dollars. Buyer beware. There's no advance notice.

Very beautiful property. Loved the fireplace, loved the view. super comfy bed. Walk to the village. Only issue was there was a problem with the water pressure in both the tub and the shower.

We have stayed at this wonderful property several times and always looked forward to coming back. We have referred family/friends and enjoy watching our kids run in the lobby to see if Racer (friendly house pup) happens to be around. Unfortunately, our experience during this last stay became rather traumatic for our young kids two days before Christmas. More specifically, an employee decided to share his unsolicited thoughts about not believing in Christmas which is fine and we respect. Inexplicably, the employee went on to comment on how Santa was not real right in front of our kids and that parents are the ones who place gifts under the tree. Also, how the alleged date of the birth of Jesus did not make sense and it should be in July. Our son did not stop questioning the whole trip back to DIA, on plane and again on Christmas Day. The innocence of young children is invaluable. Shattering their belief in Santa was not something we were expecting on our last day there 12/23. The sad part is that the employee was so nice, respectful and friendly our entire stay. We don’t want him to get in trouble. Perhaps, just some counsel and training. To the staff’s credit, Danielle (front desk) was mortified and very apologetic as was the manager Carlos who took the time to listen. We want to say we will visit again one day but can’t shake the disappointment knowing it was the place a grown adult decided to ruin Christmas for our family.

Beautiful hotel only a short walk to gondola one and Vail Village. Our room was small and cramped but we were hardly in it. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We didn’t use the fitness center but it was very nice. Valet parking and the resort fee were pricey but it’s Vail after all.
