I stayed here for a long weekend in connection with a music festival held in the city centre. The hotel is located outside of the city proper but there is a bus station not far from the hotel where you can catch a bus that will take you into the centre within 20 mins. The bus time table is punctual and well frequented so there’s almost no need to pay €25+ to get into town. The hotel is located in a bit of an industrial area so there’s not a lot to see or do in the immediate surrounds but it does means it has an enormous car park and the hotel itself is a sprawling building with many rooms, a spa, gym, sauna, business centre, bar and large dining area. The staff throughout were exceptional, some of the friendliest I’ve come across, nothing was too much bother and we were always greeted with a friendly smile. The rooms were decently sized and appointed but if there is one thing I’d fault, I’d say that the hotel is beginning to look and feel a little dated. The shower area in the spa area was a little mouldy and we had water marks on the room ceiling. The furniture and bathrooms would need renovating soon, if the hotel wants to trade as a 4 Star hotel. It looks like renovation works are underway already so it seems this problem has been identified. Breakfast was plentiful with a varied choice and good timings, esp on the Sunday after the music festival when they even extended the opening times to accommodate all the party people that were staying there (most of the hotel). The all room dining menu was good too and we had a couple of really enjoyable dinners in their cafe. All in all the hotel is good value for money and I’d recommend it.
The room was itself was nice and newly refurbished. The leisure facilities were excellent, as always and the staff were helpful. Large areas of the hotel were very visibly undergoing renovation, with no carpets etc. Didn't use the restaurant this time but have in the past and it is excellent.
I stayed for four nights!! Great room, the sauna was great and the gym area! Every night I had dinner there cause the food was awesome!! Not far for a bus and train easy to get around! Really glad I stayed!
The location is fabulous with loads of parking space - hotel has a great restaurant, bar and feels very spacious. Trouble is it is very dated. They are starting to refurbish it but it can't happen quick enough. My room was very tatty, as are some of the common areas.
So I was a little scared to stay here but I really liked it. First off, we ate at the restaurant which I must say was really good and the Service was great! Our waiter was so great and helpful — thank you! Also, it’s close to the center of town which is beautiful and you should visit it if you get a chance. As for the room, it was spacious and it was clean. There was some damage to the bathroom molding of the door but it’s not a big deal. Also, the carpets looked a little dirty which I’m sure is everywhere so it didn’t bother me much. The bed was was comfortable and it was quiet. Would stay again !
I stayed at the hotel for business. My room on the 1st floor was recently refurbished and was very nice with a great little balcony, the bathroom was also very good. The hotel bar is cosy with good service and an excellent range of beers, although a little odd that it has no windows. Dinner in the restaurant was good but over priced in my opinion. We were not really looking for a restaurant meal, but bar food does not seem to be an option at this hotel. The breakfast was good, and the staff were very efficient and professional.
I had a very lovely stay in this adorable hotel. The staff was super helpfull and polite. Breakfast is ritch and has many different choices. I love the cheese table that you have :). The hotel is not in a city center. But it has a bus stop next to the hotel if you decide to use public transpirtation means.
Rooms are oké, but need a renovation. Carpet had stains, but that's the only bad thing I have to say. Reception is very friendly, work quickly and gave me a warm welcome. Breakfast is more then sufficient and with a full crowded hotel still tables available.
The hotel parking isn't free for customers and it's very expensive (no free parking nearby). The night receptionnist is not very welcoming... The standard room is spacious, clean, with a modern TV and a good bathroom. The decoration is quaint, but it's very confortable. The breakfast is very expensive and the price isn't set... We came here to visit Amsterdam, Utrecht and take some rest, but it was impossible to enjoy a good sleep because a security alarm woke us up at 9 AM everyday (someone was smoking in another room)... It was horrible and stressful. We have cut short the journey here and decided to go in Belgium.
Out of the centre of Utrecht but good for business with good rates. Reception staff very helpful. Nice clean rooms, with enough space, comfy bed and pillows, free wi-fi, good breakfast choice from 'full english' to continental in a buffet style, everything you need for a business trip.
