Very nice room...worth the cost...location only 25 mins from wedding...staff polite and helpful..

I prefer Super 8, but the Quality Inn in Rome is completely serviceable. TV, internet and the beds were all great, and there's a Denny's built right into the hotel. All in all, not a bad place to stay for a night.

I visit this area frequently and am glad to have found this hotel. It is an older hotel, but kept very clean. The beds were far more comfortable then the much more expensive hotels I have stayed at. They have a refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker. Denny's is right next door with 24 hr service. It is extremely rare that we travel and even consider using this type of hotel. This is one of the times I am truly glad we did.

Hotel seemed basic for the chain, but dated. Bed was very comfortable and spacious room. It did have a restaurant (De#ny's), pool and was centrally located. Unfortunately, for the price, it didn't offer a continental breakfast ( because of the restaurant), a simple desk in the room, television only had 25 channels and parking lot lights were all off on backside of complex ( claimed it was a bad timer- for 3 nights) May be better suited for a family instead of a business traveler expecting some simple basics.

Clerk was not helpful @check in. Facility was dingy., not very clean. Arrangement to find and enter room was poor.

I was visiting in Rome and I usually get a room in Utica but there were none available so I tried Rome. It is a nice, though not fancy hotel. The rooms are very clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Convenient location and near a small strip mall.

Only reason we picked this hotel was because we went to Cooperstown for Joe Torres induction to the baseball hall of fame. EVERY hotel was sold out in every direction and this was the only one I could find. I always read other travelers reviews and was very weary when we got to this hotel. I jokingly told the kids that we'll probably end up sleeping in the van. Turned out that it wasn't as bad as some of the reviews. The staff was incredibly nice & very helpful. Although it was a non-smoking room, it still had that stale smokey smell. Their were 5 of us and the room only had 2 double beds so we needed a rollaway bed/cot. The staff had it up there about 5 mins after we checked in. All in all wasn't too bad. Hope that helps....

Not bad for a one night stay. I read other reviews about this hotel after I booked it, and was quite weary of what it would be like when we got there. There were 5 of us, ( our 3 boys, the wife & me ). Only reason we stayed at this hotel was because we were attending Joe Torres induction to the Baseball Hall of Fame that weekend in Cooperstown and every hotel, everywhere was booked and this was our last shot at staying somewhere over night. Well, I was actually pleasantly surprised that it was NOT as bad as I feared. Jokingly, before we got there, I said, we'll probably end up sleeping in the van..!...the room was def small for 5 people ( only 2 doubles ). So we asked the front desk about a rollaway bed, and she brought it up in about 10 mins. Ok, enough typing. In my opinion it was fine for an overnight.

very nice wish the pool was open later hours. Vending machine outside room didn't hyave any waters in it but stil took my card and charged it even after I cancelled it.

We stayed there just for one night , we went to turning stone which was fairly close about 10 min to get there. Easy to get there . The motel was under a little bit of construction but easy to get to and get around we were close to th pool but it wasn't open the times we were there . The soda machine took bank cards but said the drink I wanted was out but noticed after I got home they charged my card any ways for the drink but I cancelled the charge. Other vending machines don't take card at all . Overall not a bad place to stay in a pinch.

experience was good. friendly staff. pet friendly hotel, traveled with a black lab. there is a dennys built into the hotel which was nice.

Great experience, will repeat, I'd recommend to anybody

Would love to be there again! Pleasant staff, easy check in, comfy and clean room, loved it!

Check in and out as super easy. The room was ok, some upgrades since our last stay which always makes it more comfortable. But continues to need some more work. Nice stay for the price. Employees were helpful and the kids always enjoy eating at the resturant.

We visited family during the day and then had a relaxing evening at the hotel. The restuarant at the hotel was also very helpful. It was a good experience all around.

The hotel is older and recently had some updating done to it. The most enjoyable and surprising best part of the room was the shower. The water pressure was great and we never ran out of hot water. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very courteous and efficient at check-in and check-out. The room was clean and quiet and I was somewhat surprised at the quality for the price paid. Would definitely consider staying here again on future visits.

There is not much in Rome, and the hotel reflects this admirably.
