GPS friendly. Free car park underground or just outside front door of hotel. One of the better Accor group hotels with a good size room. Staff pleasant. Nice, clean and comfortable hotel in a quiet location. I scored a reasonably good price for this hotel when I booked. I will stay here again.

We passed 3 nights in this hotel in May. I asked for early check-in because I needed to work from the room. We arrived around 9 AM and the room was ready. The chair at the desk was not very comfortable for 8 hours but there was an armchair and I stayed on it, was much better. The Tassimo coffee machine with the different choices of coffee and tea was a very pleasant surprise! The room is big enough, spotlessly clean, just like the bathroom. Two downsides: the wifi speed, but is was enough for the work and the housekeeping service made only one thing, they refilled the coffee/tee capsules ad the minibar, but the bed wasn't arranged, the glasses and the mugs weren't washed, they haven't wiped around the sink.It was shocking after all the positive experiences. Very close to the hotel is a bus stop where you can take the bus to the absolutely amazing old city ,the trip it is around 15 minutes and the ticket costs 2,5 €. The breakfast was awesome and on the first night we had dinner at the restaurant and I can say that I ate here one of the tastiest hamburgers of my life! We will be happy to return here next week right on my birthday, I think that this is one of the best ways to celebrate my birthday, even if I have to work again, though :)

My son and I stayed for eight nights while visiting family and enjoying Regensburg. The hotel was perfectly located for our needs. We could easily get on the Autobahn or quickly go into the city center. We did have a rent a car but the hotel staff did direct us to free parking near the old stone bridge on the Danube. The Breakfast was amazing and the restaurant provided a good dinner with excellent service. We enjoyed our stay and will be staying again!

The Mercure Hotel of Regensburg provided me with a wonderful place to stay while on a trip visiting family in area. The room was sized just right for two people with a very usable bathroom. I would like to note that my room was on the back side of the hotel and had a balcony which overlooked apartment complex consisting of four(4) buildings. At night automated lights in this complex would turn on as residents came and went. This wasnt a huge bother as there were blackout curtains on window and door to the balcony. The breakfast "buffet" provided for a relatively small daily charge was wonderful with a great assortment of Bavarian meats and cheese, fresh bread and cereal, eggs, bacon and sausage. The dinner menu is small in the restaurant but the Schnitzel was wonderful as was the cucumber salad. For my needs the location was a real selling point as the hotel is not in the heart of the city being very close to the autobahn. It is a short 2.5km distance to Dom platz and old town area of Regensburg.

Staying at Mercure Hotel make you always desire to come back and come back in a warm and welcoming place with good taste, nice and kind people. Even the guests get this atmosphere, automatically ... and staying in the restaurant to serve a simple dinner and a cold white glass of wine offered by such a staff...Congrats for the team ! Wonderful! Thank you!

Stopped again at this hotel for one night while travelling trough Germany. The hotel is just off the motorway and about 3km from the city centre, with a bus route nearby giving easy access to the city. The hotel offers free parking outside as well as its own underground car park (which I think is also free). The hotel has both a bar and restaurant, neither of which I used on this stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable as well as being quiet and included a small balcony. The rooms had a TV and coffee maker (which I could not get to work) and personally I would prefer a kettle to the coffee maker. Most of the staff were friendly with good English. Unfortunately, time only allowed for a one night stop and so we could not explore Regensburg as much as we had wanted. Hope to return again in the future.

Not the easiest hotel to find, but once found comfortable and easy. Breakfast was more than sufficient and there was great choice. If the tea had had boiling water it would have been even better, but then that is an English fad that the continentals still haven't understood

We have stay here as we have had a healthy visit at Regensburg and this hotel was a 4* and near the hospital we need to be. But really it was not a 4* hotel. When we made the check in and went into the room, we needed slippers and I call the reception: she told me to go down to take them(thing that in a 4* hotel doesnt happen). I go down to take them, the girl let me wait for 12min and after told me that thet have not slippers 😁!!!!!!! As I travel too much, I never have had those problems in a 4* hotel.

This was a great choice for our first 2-night stay at the start of a self-directed driving vacation in Germany. I chose it for overall value, accessibility to the autobahn, free parking and an easy bus ride into the city center. The hotel is on a quiet side street in a mostly residential neighborhood that felt very safe. It had the feel of a small personally attentive hotel with friendly, willingly helpful staff. The room was superbly clean, comfortable and quiet, albeit small, but adequate. The breakfast buffet, which was an extra charge, was the best on our travels, and allowed us to skip or do a light lunch. Appreciated the competent staff with impeccable English. They even thought to advise us which was the more economical bus ticket for our needs.

After a disappointing stay in another hotel in Regensburg, I decided to stay in Mercure, and it was a very good decision. Although this hotel was away from my place of work but it is a very good hotel with spacious rooms, big bathrooms, good internet, good breakfast and free parking. The staff is courteous too which was a pleasant surprise after my previous experience in Regensburg. This hotel is away from the main city but I think there are buses that come very close. But if you have a car, then you will never complain. Good option to stay if you are in Regensburg.
