The hotel is very nice and kindly people as well. This hotel is in centre and easy to walk in Regensburg centre. The Receptionist Mr. Thapa is very helpful. We have to go early morning to Frankfurt airport. He gave us exact time wake up call and he helped to us the Train information. We are thankful to Mr thapa because he gave to us exactly train´s time information. We will come back again stay in this hotel. Because very nice hotel, in centre, kindly Receptionist. The Room was very nice and comfort. We stayed 2 night 21st to 23rd march 2017.
I stayed twice in this place, the first time was a nightmare; we couldn't sleep because of the noise from the tourist outside on the street. next day we apply for room move and the staff was really helpful. In a really nice area of the city. 2nd time we got a nice room on the top floor, Nice few of the Regensburg's Cathedral.
Stayed in this wonderful, welcoming hotel while filming in Regensburg. I don't think we've ever dined in such elegant surroundings. The staff were helpful, very professional and the food was wonderful.
Historical Hotel just outside of the Altsdtadt, recently bought by a Spanish franchise. The Hotel has a luxurious appearence, with stucchi and decorations, high ceilings and a sort of Hall of fame on the stairs. Rooms are equally spacious, with nostalgia furnitures, but it is not possible to regulate the heating, you cannot get a full dark and bedrooms also could be improved. Also some service details are lacking. On the other hand, quite nice breakfast buffet, mostly salty oriented. In the overall, prices are quite convenient, but consider no working WI-FI connection.
Just finish trip this week and this was last station. Unfortunately thay have problem with Internet conection. And it's still present. Stuff by checking in was unpleasent.. as this is not my first time and this is worst then ever expirience. .. I'm thinking not to be any more member of guest of this hotel
Lovely stay before Christmas for the markets. Great location, grand hotel, with a great breakfast in a fabulously ornate room. The bedroom was spacious, warm, and very comfortable and kept very clean.
This hotel is beautiful, inside and out. The room we stayed on was on the third floor facing the town, so I guess we were lucky in that regard. Our view from the room was of the whole city of Regensburg, and you can see the cathedrals from the bed! The room is quite large, and has nice decor...there's nice furniture with extra seating and a large wardrobe. The bathroom is modern, and has a separate toilet room and bathroom with a shower/bathtub, and laundry sink. It was nice having the toilet separate. I thought the value was great...we paid about $90, and the room was so much nicer than anything you could get in the US for that price. One of the best parts of our stay was the breakfast buffet, which is huge, and in a really beautiful room with chandeliers and stunning woodwork. There was a large array of food of all kinds, and coffees and teas and juices as well. Top notch! I would highly recommend this hotel, and if you have a choice, request a room on the top floor with a view of the city.
Well located accessible with a solid amenity package. Staff while not overly friendly was very efficient and helpful. Was an excellent value! No workout facilities at time of visit. Will stay here another time.
Good location at the edge of the pedestrian area, easy walk into town but accessible by car. Underground parking, but no lift, so leave baggage before you park. Beautiful building, big rooms, newly renovated bathrooms. Clean, big beds. Good breakfast buffet. Good wifi. Noisy hallways when other guests are coming or going.
If you stand in front of the hotel it looks absolutely great. But the rooms and the comfort, lets call it standards, are simply one star rated. Staying there in the summer can be a real great experience, there is no aircon and you can not open the window, because the building next door is so close, that it looks like virtually next a few meters away. There is no gym, no sauna, no nothing. As I said - it looks stunning from the outside, but it's a nightmare staying there.
