We had a great stay at the house. Very cute and just perfect for what we were looking for. Close walk to the beach, space for our group (6) and comfy beds and lots of space. Fire pit with plenty of wood.

The house is absolutely beautiful with the most comfortable beds we have ever had in a rental. It’s a short walk to the beach and the house comes with chairs, beach towels, a wagon and umbrellas to make for the easiest and most comfortable beach experience. We will be back!

Perfect Family Getaway on Lake Michigan

We had a lovely family vacation at this beautiful home in Union Pier! The location is perfect—just a short, easy walk to a quiet stretch of Lake Michigan. It was the ideal spot for our family to relax & enjoy the beach for the week.We especially loved the spacious screened-in porch and the fire pit, which made for perfect s'mores nights.Communication with the host was excellent; they were responsive & friendly. We strongly recommend this VRBO for anyone looking for the perfect Lake Michigan getaway!

Fabulous cottage

Our family enjoyed staying at Oak Dunes. The space was inviting, cozy and relaxing. It was incredibly clean and had everything we needed! We HIGHLY recommend staying at Betsy’s cottage. Definitely will be back. Thank you for making our weekend getaway wonderful!

Great SW MI Stay!

Betsy's home is great for a group. We loved the open concept living space, screened-in porch and firepit. It is in a great location walkable to The Whist Stop, Red Arrow Roadhouse and the beach. Small detail, but especially loved that they have and soap for all of the sinks which I find rare in rentals in :)

Comfortable & cozy!

We were very comfortable and couldn't be happier about the location. The home is in a quiet area with various restaurants, wineries, and shops nearby. The hosts were extremely attentive throughout the process and the home offered various amenities. Thank you for an incredible stay!

Beautiful Home

This home is beautiful. Clean, comfortable and has plenty of room for everyone. Easy walk to the beach and short drive to the restaurants and wineries. The host was very easy to work with and we cannot wait to get back there as this is by far our favorite house.

Another Amazing Trip!

This was our third time staying here and we absolutely loved it! Everything was top-notch and we didn't want to leave! My two boys cried when we had to go home, but we hope to come back next year! Our favorite part is the large, wrap-around, screened-in porch. The bedrooms are all comfortable and the beach is amazing! Thanks for a memorable vacation!

Another wonderful stay

Oak Dunes is a wonderfully kept home and property! The homeowner keeps the home stocked with all the essentials for relaxing. It truly is a home away from home! It is cozy and inviting and a short distance either by car or on foot to many eateries, shops, wineries/distilleries, state parks and beaches. There are many fun fall activities during the season. Looking forward to our next stay!!

Fantastic property

I rented this home for a ladies weekend, it was everything as advertised and more. Betsy was great to work with, answered quickly to all inquiries even prior to the rental agreement. Do not hesitate to rent this property ( except the weekend we want)!

Family girls trip

Perfect home for our trip to celebrate a graduation & successful school year. Plenty of room for 7 adults & 3 children. Very clean & comfortable space with everything we needed for our stay. A short walk to a beautiful beach, The Whistlestop & gelato! We have traveled to this area several times & this is one of the nicest rentals we have found. Highly recommend it! Betsy provided clear check in & out instructions & lots of great info on nearby restaurants & places to visit. Hope to stay here again!

Beautiful home

We have stayed in this house every summer for the last several years. Every year we see the improvements the owners make and it just gets better every time. Literally a five minute walk to the beach. Also, a five minute walk to The Whistle Stop store and The Roadhouse bar. Less than a ten minute walk the other direction to the shops at Union Pier. Hope to go back every summer for years to come.

Beautiful Harbor Country home

Beautiful Harbor Country home. Situated close to the bike trail adjacent to the Red Arrow highway. A five-minute walk to the closest public beach. The property features a screened in wrap around porch, a fire pit, and a gas grill. Inside the place was spotless with more than enough room for us. Six to eight people would be comfortable here. It's one of the best places we've stayed in this area. Highly reccomend.
