Was a nice place to stay. Although the first room we got still looked like someone was staying in there. They did change us to a nice clean room quickly.
This is a great price/value and I received free food I didn't expect (Taco Tuesday).

Well, i stopped in person and asked for a room. The clerk said they only had suite available for $200. I thank her and left. I then ran around the city of 29 palms looking for a room. Everyone was sold out. I then opened up Orbitz. Found a room within a few minutes. Didn't realize it was the same place. I showed up and to my surprise it was the same place I had stopped and asked before I left on a wild goose chase. So, whats up? Does Orbitz have the market on rooms?

The only pro was that it was on the cheaper side and the mattress was ok. A lot of cons though. The initial counter girl was rude but the one at check out was great. The room was clean but the sheets were stained and the bathroom was filthy. There were hairs everywhere. Stuck to the wall, door, shower curtain, tub walls. Towels were horribly stained. The shower valve didn't work so you had to turn it and pray hot water came out at some point but if you happened to hit after that ice cold water again. We couldn't use the AC unit because the blower fan sounding like it had Transformers fighting in it. The pillows felt like they were cut up square pieces of couch cushion stuffed in a bag. I know this hotel was cheap but it wasn't cheap enough for all of this.
It was nice and quiet I only came to sleep was out most of the day. I couldn’t get the tv to work but I didn’t asked for help either the breakfast only included cold items, cereal water, coffeee and fruit. It was explain to me that the warm items such as waffles eggs, bacon were extra (was not aware of such). Facility looked clean at all times !!!!
Nothing was unique in a positive way. You had to check-in to hotel next door. 1. A gym was advertised. Gym is not available. Supposedly key opens door. Gym is Closed. 2. Free breakfast was advertised. NO Breakfast. 3. Pool was advertised.. No Pool, it was turned into a dirt/gravel floor. Don't even stay at hotel that checks you in as it is not very clean either.

I've been on vacation and on the road since the 1st ot August. Came from Nevada (4 1/2 hour drive), exhausted, decided to book room. Late check in, around 11 p.m. AC was loud but a little tolerable with TV loud on but around 3 a.m., it sounded like a small engine propeller starting off and on. I thought it was going to explode! Called front desk and I was given a new room nearby and had to pack all my belongings and move to the new room. Room 215 should not ever ever had been given to a guest with a broken and extremely loud AC. I now can not sleep and upset. Disappointed.
Breakfast takes too much time to cook each guest's order. Self-serve is the way to go.
I chose this motel on a recent trip to Joshua Tree because of price ($109/ night) and proximity to Joshua tree. My friends were camping inside the park and each day it was about a half hour drive to join them at the Ryan campgrounds. Check in is at the somewhat nicer hotel next door. They tell you this is due to a remodel of the lobby, but looking at past reviews it seems this remodel has been going on for years so I would say this will be the situation indefinitely. Breakfast is also at the hotel next door. All I saw was dry cereal. Coffee dispenser was empty and I couldn’t find anyone to refill it so I ended up just grabbing coffee at the nearby Burger King on my way to the park. Motel has a small unheated pool. Also a coin operated laundry room is available for guests. Door locks are a little touchy. You have to swipe your key very slowly and from the top only in order for it to work and unlock the door. The room I found to be reasonably clean and comfortable. The small kitchen area was very useful and had a fridge, microwave and small sink area. I had brought food with me from LA but on arriving realized there is actually a large grocery store next door to the motel called Stater Brothers. Probably the biggest downside to this place is the noise. Being from mid city Los Angeles I didn’t think I would be bothered, but the noise from the struggling heating and air conditioning unit as well as parking lot/ highway noise did wake me up quite a few times.
This holtel was close to Joshua Tree NP. It was easy to find and check in was smooth by going next door.
The hotel was decent - just what we expected for the price. The lobby was closed and it seems to be managed by the Rodeway Inn next door. You check-in/out and eat breakfast there. The room was ok - didn’t notice any uncleanliness but the bed had a lot of static, which made our night sleep a little uncomfortable. We didn’t expect free breakfast so was very surprised when it wasn’t just a crappy cereal/toast self-served thing. There were 3 options and the staff makes it instantly for you, in addition to the usual cereal/fruit/coffee. We had scrambled eggs, waffles, sausages and orange juice. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful.
