This is an incredible experience! Yurt is bigger than the others ive seen. Yurt was clean, clean linens, towels, and was packed with small details to help make your experience a good one (fire starter, french press with electric water kettle, grill gear). Erin, the host, was welcoming and responsive, and gave a list if tips of things to do, places to eat. Location was also excellent, being somewhat secluded but still ckose driving distance to joshua tree, 29 palms etc. 10/10 would do again

Our host Erin had everything we needed for our glamping experience. Bed was very comfortable. Fire pit with wood available onsite and fire starter. A propane grill was available with tools. Bathroom was very clean. Outdoor hot shower. Very quiet and away from light for star gazing. Would stay again.

Overrated and overpriced. We are intrepid travelers, and are used to basic conditions, but we felt misled with this place. There is no glam in the advertised glamping. Very bare bones, shower and toilet outside. Basically the yurt is an oversized tent that is very well supported and decorated with fairy lights and Tibetan flags. The Brita pitcher in the yurt wasn’t even filled with water as courtesy. No welcoming touches of any kind, like tea, coffee or fruits. Very cold at night; we slept with our clothes on. The landscape is Nomadland but you can hear cars and coyotes at night so not peaceful. Erin was accommodating with our arrival in the dark at 6:15 pm. I guess we would not have been disappointed if we were more accurately informed about what we were getting ourselves into.

YURT was as advertised and maybe a little more than I expected. Had everything we needed for us to feel we were “roughing it” yet comfortably sleeping in warm cozy beds. Erin was amazing; very communicative and helpful with anything and everything. Thanks again we will be back soon!

This was a fun and unique experience. Our one night was plenty though. It’s cheaper to buy your firewood before arriving. It was convenient to buy it onsite but you don’t get much for $10. I wish the outdoor lighting had not been so bright around the yurt and from the neighbors nearby.

Overall it was a very pleasant stay. My family and I really enjoyed a relaxing stay with shops and stores nearby. Great communication by the host Erin, she made sure we were well informed before and during our stay. The stars look beautiful from this location. The Yurtz are very rommy.

SKIP THE AUTOCAMP and head here instead — this place is the perfect blend of nature and glamping. The yurts are some of the coolest accommodations I’ve ever stayed in, and they’re 100% authentic yurts from Mongolia. Each yurt is spaced out nicely, giving you plenty of privacy and room to relax. Plus, it’s conveniently located just a short 7–10 minute drive from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. My wife, our two daughters, and I stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday for three nights, and we had an absolute blast. The owner and host, Erin, is genuinely one of the kindest people we’ve ever met — incredibly attentive, warm, and thoughtful. She took care of anything we needed (which wasn’t much, because this place is so well-set-up). And for anyone who isn’t quite ready to fully unplug — yes, there’s WiFi, too. Thank you again, Erin. You and your yurts were amazing.
