Very spacious and comfortable room with good breakfast. Very easy access off the interstate. Rates are reasonable. Beginning to remodel as we were checking out so I am sure the new update will be pleasing.
Conveniently located right off the interstate with plenty of parking. Check in was quick and efficient. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was served at 6:00 am, which was great and enabled us to get an early start. This was my third stay here and will continue to stay on future trips.
Overall stay was pretty nice and comfortable. Clean room and comfy bed. Pillow had maybe some eyeliner on one and a small stain on the other. Not sure what it was but not enough for me to worry about it. Toilet you had to hold the handle down to fully flush. Shower had great water pressure. We enjoyed the stay. Breakfast was average. Waffles, gravy, biscuits, some pastries and fruit.
We have stayed at the Comfort Suites on McFarland several times. It is always clean, comfortable, with reasonable rates. The front desk staff is always exceptional, friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to many restaurants and places to shop. The hotel staff always has great suggestions for good food. If you are looking for clean and very comfortable, look no further.
KInda risky for two LSU Tiger fans to stay in amongst the Tide. The experience was great. I said to the desk clerk, "GEAUX TIGERS", he said "Roll Tide". Great interaction. The table was set. Loved it. The desk clerk was very cordial, pleasant, and informative. We stayed on night, on our way to Atlanta Airport. The room was large and warm. Decor was very attractive. I would recommend this hotel.
We made an unplanned stop at this hotel due to an accident on the interstate that forced a long delay. We found this hotel conveniently located near the exit. It was very clean with plenty of fluffy towels and a comfortable bed --there were even mints which were a very nice touch. The wifi worked great. The free breakfast was adequate but certainly not as good as the Comfort Suites in Hot Springs Arkansas that had complimentary eggs and bacon. This is only our second stay at a Comfort Suites but I have been pleased with both. I will definitely look for Comfort Suites when traveling. Good job!
My bride and I choose this place because we were catching the Amtrak to New Orleans from Tuscaloosa. As an added benefit, they were kind enough to let us leave our car with them for the several days we planned to spend in New Orleans. The woman who runs the front desk, Cathy, was most helpful and courteous to us. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and reasonably-priced, if you’re not staying there on a football weekend, in which case, bring several credit cards. The breakfast was on the high end for Comfort Suites establishments breakfasts, and they let us delay checkout to facilitate catching the train. We’ll stay with them again.
The hotel was very clean and the rooms were roomy and comfortable. Comfortable beds as well. Typical Comfort Inn buffet breakfast. Friendly. Didn't like that there is a smaller shady looking hotel right by it unfortunately.
Clean rooms, very comfortable beds, and a decent gym. The price was spot on. Would have paid more for this quality of hotel. Even has a nice snack corner in lobby so you don't have to leave after a long day. Didn't eat the breakfast so I can't comment on that. I have family who live here in tuscaloosa and I will definitely will be staying here again. Also the staff was pleasant. They knew we were driving from out of state and arriving in the middle of the night. They had everything waiting on us when we got here so we could get straight to bed. Whole check in took about 45 seconds. Thanks for that! =)
We booked a room last minutes on the internet. Within just a few minutes a member of the staff called to verify my reservation and explain that my family may need to change rooms, for the change he offered a much lower rate for our inconvenience. Upon arriving our original reservation was honored. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good. The only drawback was the gas station next door, but the noise was minimal. Great hotel for a stay in Tuscaloosa.
