A full-time cleaner is provided (6 days a week). The space is magical and just a few minutes' walk from the cenote, furnished and maintained to the highest standards, this unique property provides peace and tranquility with a beachfront location. It has on-site parking.

Can not beat the view

This house has amazing view as you Can see from pictures. We went there as a group of 28 people ( paid extra for additional 12 kids). House can only accommodate 16 as per manager of the house. But they managed few extra mattresses , pillow and blankets for us. The cleaning crew is amazing, they did fantastic job on cleaning the kitchen and rooms every day. 2 managers managing the house are very professional and keep things in check. House has 3 apartments which are not attached to main house so if you have big group be aware of that. Some time people will feel isolated! They converted one master bath to room and placed mattress on jacuzzi! Bed on 3 apartments feels little smaller than queen size. Pool was nice and have good lighting in night, how ever there was lot of rocks in beach makes it difficult to enjoy beach. But view is amazing. We had issue with hot water for few days, made it little difficult for kid. But manager was able to take care of it.

Enjoyed our stay....but...

We enjoyed our stay in Tulum at the Temple of Light property, but certainly needs some updates. But first the positives, the staff on property were great, Candy the housekeeper was very friendly and did a great job...Matthias the concierge was very responsive and gave us great recommendations for sites and restaurants....and the grounds crew did a great job cleaning up the property given the seaweed washing up on the beach, etc. The house is located on a lane that is secluded/private and has a security gate with guards 24/7 so that was reassuring/safe. But the house is dated...the "jacuzzi" did not work (jets yes, but no heat), the kitchen was very dated and needs new pots/pans/etc. I was unaware that four of the eight bedrooms were in separate casitas outside of the main house and that one of the bedrooms in the house was a bathroom converted into a bedroom. Also, the "laundry" is not inside the house, but in an outdoor shed that is not accessible to the renters, but only to the staff...fortunately, Candy was kind enough to do our laundry during the stay. Overall, we had a nice trip, but certainly expected more from the pictures and the description of the house. Thank you again to Candy, Matthias and the property staff for making us feel very comfortable.
