I cannot say enough wonderful things about this little hidden gem of a hotel. The ambience is magical, the food is extraordinary, and the staff is wonderful. They truly did everything to make our stay fantastic. We stayed in the Orchid Room, which is a simple studio suite that has an amazing charm to it. The structure is almost a polished concrete "igloo", with smooth flowing curved lines. This is built directly into and around the trees which form the center open plaza of the hotel. The suite opens onto a private patio deck that overlooks this plaza and the swim-up pool/bar and restaurant below. You can enjoy a drink or meal as beautiful birds light on the trees in the open air. We tried multiple items on the menu over five days. Every single dish was fantastic. The continental breakfast with yogurt and fresh fruit was fabulous. The Huevos Rancheros, Salmon, and Risotto were all excellent as well. All this is enough. But the thing most special about Orchid House is the staff. Antonio, Jose, Luis, and especially the manager Frank (Frank deserves a special mention) were superbly hospitable and made our stay everything it could be. Housekeeping was special, to say the least. We were celebrating a birthday and anniversary, and every day we would return from our travels to find the room decorated celebrating the event with creative bath towel designs; swans, rose petals, candles, and congratulatory messages. You're just not gonna get this kind of special service in a chain.

Ill never stay anywhere else again in Tulum. There's a reason this place has just high reviews. The location is perfect, the rooms make it feel like in jungle palace. But what made me write my 3rd review in life is how amazing they are at customer service. There were a few small issues in room. And a loud cat out back. What makes me a loyal guest forever is how they respond. They were so quick and on the, and nothing was too small an issue to them. The interior makes you feel so peaceful. And then I leared you even greet free access to their beach hotel also. Amazing!

I had the best experience staying in this hotel. The staff were all super friendly - the best host was Frank at the front desk. He did absolutely everything possible to make sure we had a great stay. He was always willing to help out with anything I needed or any questions I had about the city. They were so thoughtful to even upgrade our room before we arrived! The restaurant at the property had the best fish tacos!

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous architecture. We loved our stay and especially our room (booked the Orchid room). We also had free access to their Beach-club at the Orchid House Tulum Beach. Staff was kind and welcoming. Location is close to everything and is safe. There's free parking on the property and there's someone at night to guard the entrance door. Food and drinks are on you and some area will be reserved. At night there was some bugs but they were more scared of us then we were of them. Pretty harmless. We are in a jungle so it's also normal. A/C was our bestfriend. Kept the room cool and nice as it was hot and humid outside. Downsides : 1. Poor wifi as it comes and goes. We needed to either connect with our own data plan or go outside our room for a better connection. If you do need to work while traveling keep this in mind. 2. A lot of mosquitoes. So prepare yourself and bring some mosquito repellent or be cautious when entering or leaving your room. (Well again, we are in a jungle so it's kinda inevitable) Complimentary breakfast was tasty and healthy (yogurt with granola, plate of fruit and toast with jam and butter). However, if you are a person that needs protein for breakfast, this might not be for you as you will get hungry or find that it's not enough. I would recommend to pay extra or get around to find a more filling meal if you are on a budget. Overall, we really loved our stay and our trip in Tulum. Description was the property in exact.

They are very attentive and friendly. The facilities were a little wonky, the shower water would get stuck on one setting hot or cold. The room had many spider webs around. The private jacuzzi was nice and so were the views. Overall 8/10

Hidden gem in the jungle. For couples who value privacy, excellent service, GREAT FOOD, and a relaxing vacation...Orchid House is the place to go! We enjoyed our long weekend trip in a beautiful spacious room with privacy and the relaxation we needed. The food is freshly prepared and sooo incredibly good. The bar and drinks were the best around. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to go back. Thank you!!

We love that Tulum is a jungle. Trees, vines and plants embrace this property offering tranquility. They have a sister hotel at the beach and we used it one day with no minimum spend. We rented bikes directly from the front desk for $16 each one day. The food in the restaurant was pretty good. Frank was very friendly and welcoming at the front and Jose, our pool bartender, made great drinks and was so fun to talk to and help us with our Spanish. The hotel is a 3 mile bike ride to the beach. However, we chose it because we spent our time in Aldea Zama. It’s a short walk to a market, 7-11, coffee shops and restaurants.

We chose the garden suite. Unfortunately we were not able to use the separate outdoor tub but would havebif we had time. We are dinner at the "Nest". It is located at the rooftop of the hotel. Great food and service. The place was amazing. You felt like you were in the jungle but not really. The plants and natural materials made it so pretty.
