My go-to Fairfield Inn was booked so I trusted Marriott's (self proclaimed) four star rating of this property. Shame on me and shame on Marriott! This is exactly why TripAdvisor is a necessity for seasoned travelers. Had I taken the extra three minutes to check TripAdvisor, I would have NEVER booked this hotel. The gals at the front desk, Ashley and Kendi, were super pleasant. Beyond that, everything about my stay was disappointing. This is a very old, tired property under new ownership. Ashley and Kendi told me there are plans in motion for an extensive renovation. Let's hope so. I suggest you avoid this hotel until 2019. In the $100/night range, there are much better choices in the immediate area.

Stayed a week at this property. It seemed like this property was doing the bare minimum to maintain the Marriott standards. In the week the daily newspaper was never delivered to the property. Interior of rooms are well worn even though manager said they were new 3 years ago. Hotel staff permitted a contract worker to enter room without my permission or prior knowledge to perform work. Not happy but was not going to change hotels with the many events in town.

We stayed one night – New Year’s eve – in the Tulsa Fairfield Inn of 31st St. The room was clean and had good heat on a frigid day. The bed was OK, not great, and the choice of pillows was limited to short and fat though there were four. The bathroom was clean but there were some shoddy repairs in the tub. The towels were adequate, but there were no tissues anywhere in the room. The three lights in the bathroom were all fluorescent but too dim with poor coloring to put on make up, and too bright to use as a night light since they were all three on the same switch. The room had a tub, but with handicap bars as I requested. Overall it was very vanilla with one battered lampshade which didn’t harm me but detracted from the looks of the room. I had made my reservation online serval days earlier and got what I hoped was the best rate, but when I asked for any other discount at the front desk when I checked in I was told there were no further discounts since I had already made a reservation. I thought that it was odd, especially since this hotel is surrounded by half a dozen other similar hotels none of which were full. I would think Fairfield would want to court my business for the next time, but they didn’t. Also, the fact that this hotel is off a main street and surrounded by similar hotels makes it a bit difficult to locate unless you know the city and know that it is there. Another traveler might give up and stay at one of the first hotels on the cul-de-sac without explicit directions.

I picked this hotel because of hot breakfast and pool in a mid-range that was supposedly 8.9 recommend. I get there and the pool is filled in with cement. The front desk area was so hot they had fans running to try to help but it was sweltering. I get to my room and stinks like mildew and horrible air freshener. There was mildew on the bathroom ceiling and it looked it had been painted over before. There was a board on the wall to hang your clothes which fell off the wall and just missed my foot. The individual coffee maker was missing a piece and it dripped all over the place. The ice maker, which was sitting in the hall right across the hall, dropped ice so loud all night it kept waking me up. The workout room had dirt all over the carpet. The water in the shower was only warm. I brought all this up at checkout and the front desk person was very apologetic but said she couldn't make any adjustments. She said she would have to bring it up to the manager who would take it in to consideration and get back to me. I sat at breakfast and listened repeatedly to the front desk have to apologize for this sub-standard property. This not anywhere near Fairfield standards and most definitely not worth the pricepoint. There are plenty of other hotels in that area that may be a better choice.

The front desk personnel were very friendly helping me choose the 3 star rating. Otherwise it would have been closer to a 1. The hotel decor is very outdated and the carpets in hallway are very stained. The tile in the bathrooms, and we had 2 rooms, were crack and needed replaced. The air unit would constantly kick off and restart regardless of what the temp was in the rooms and it was very loud trying to sleep. The mattress on both beds in the rooms were rock hard as well with the pillows very small and not much support. The one positive was easy access to park

There was a wide variety of hotels to chose from and we chose Fairfield Inn because they have a great history with us. This hotel let us down. We were visiting my sister in the hospital and I booked online. When we got to the hotel and walked into the room it was like walking into a sauna. Our clothes became damp immediately. We had to go back to the hospital immediatelu

I gave this hotel a 3 star because the lobby people were nice and the rooms were clean. The compressor on the air conditioning made a very loud noise as it kicked on. There were no facial tissues in the room. The hotel need an update as it is becoming outdated. easy parking and several restaurants nearby. Disappointed for a Marriott chain hotel.

Can I start by saying that if the Marriott chain knew what this hotel was like they would not be happy! Also, I only gave it a 1* as not able to give it 0*. The only time the lobby was manned was when we checked in/out as at all other times during the day/evening, there was no one around!? Although the room appeared clean(ish), we didn't have the best night's sleep because the pillows were somewhat lumpy and there was an old bloodstain on the sheet (which I had tucked under as there was no-one on the desk to report it to, so no way of getting clean sheets!) We needed to print out some tickets for the evening but the printer in the foyer was broken, as was the whirlpool, which after 2-3 days of driving from Vegas, was much needed. Upon checking reviews, we now realise it has been broken for a few months! Despite breakfast being included we didn't even bother staying as again, the reviews were so bad. To the hotel: please don't put that you're undergoing renovations when quite clearly nothing has changed in months and as for guests being a #1 priority...?! We will NEVER make the mistake of booking this hotel or recommending this hotel and have written to Marriott explaining our issues.

Arrived at the Fairfield late afternoon and warmly greeted upon arrival. Were offered an up-grade, yet requested a first floor room (easier for bags). The room was nicely appointed and clean. Typical Marriott standard which we expect. Location suited us perfectly; near family, golf and dealership for oil change! Fairfield is a great, dependable hotel we enjoy staying at. Always expect Marriott service, hot coffee in the morning, nice basic breakfast and professional service.

Husband decided to take family along on a business trip. We chose this hotel because it had a pool/hot tub, guest laundry, and free breakfast. Hot tub has been broken all week. The pool was closed one day but that wasn't a big deal. The pool room was insanely hot so that made it difficult to sit and watch your kiddos swim. The same pile of dead bugs sat on the floor all week. We packed light knowing we could do laundry. Went to do a load mid-week and the dryer is broken. Checked every day and it was never fixed. We wore dirty clothes for the last 2 days of our visit. Staff was friendly and helped when they could. Room had a funky smell as did the elevator. Breakfast was ok for free but the fruit was always sour. Location is good...easy to get to. Hotel was pretty quiet all week. Pillows super soft so sleep was rough. We found it odd that so many things were broken with no plan to be fixed. The hot tub had obviously been out of commission for quite a while. The dryer is still broken. We would have chosen another hotel had we known we would have been without a dryer.
