DIRTY AND NOT GOOD SERVICE

This was not a friendly and helpful place to stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE! only stayed one night for 12 hours woke up with over 30 bug bites all over my body hotel refused to refund. pillows were dirty with black all over them when request new pillows was told they were short on pillows, then requested new pillow slips. I will never stay here again and if I were you do not book this room also smelt like they were cooking drugs in the hotel rooms.

It is showing some age and some work could be done. The bed was comfortable and room a nice size. We'd stay again.

Positives: The bed was comfortable. Shuttle from airport was nice. Lady at checkout was friendly. Negatives: Breakfast wasn’t great. Biscuits, watered down gravy, cereal, waffles & egg rounds. Could use a meat option. Carpet in the halls was very dirty (4th floor) & needs updated. Bathroom near the lobby was nasty. Toilet paper holder in room was broken. Overall, just an okay stay. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The Wingate Fallen: The outside entryway/lobby appeared inviting and classy, but upon further inspection, you start see where it was once well kept and now it is just rundown. There were numerous areas where the ceiling showed signs of water leaks, the inside of the elevators looked like they had been used as freight elevators for 20 years. The walls were marked up and damaged, and the carpet in our hallway to our room, showed grease, oils, and dirt stains all over it. Our room appeared to be clean, but had an aroma, that can best be described as of Incense & Marijuana. The shower flow was minimal, the king bed was clean and comfortable. The other furnishing in the room were either worn, stained, dirty or broken. There were obvious wall patches, and other areas where you could see where the artwork had been removed and damaged the walls The Toilet Paper... Best described as: Transparent John Wayne Style Personality: "See Through, Rough, Tough, and Does Not Take Waste off of Anyone. The bath towels can best be described as a water squeegee and exfoliator. Breakfast required a ticket to be turned in upon entering the dining area, and there were several signs stating that it HAD to be eaten downstairs, not in your room. Round fried scrambled eggs and biscuits & gravy were the hot breakfast. No bacon, sausage, etc. We skipped the breakfast. If you need somewhere fast to sleep, no real amenities, plan on eating elsewhere, and are not staying long. Then this is the place.

The entrance to the hotel is actually decent. But the moment you get out of the elevator, the chemical smell was overwhelming. The carpet was filthy. And the front desk guy was unwilling to upgrade our room, even AFTER I offer to PAY for the difference since we just wanted to sleep comfortably during the 3 night stay. I couldn't believe it.

I liked everything

The property STUNK with highly perfumed cleaner. Things were broke, one door in...only?Certainly NOT a 3 star, 2 at best

When you first walk in, it seems pleasant and smells very nice. Beyond that, my experience was terrible. The main floors were not cleaned and vaccumed for some time. One side entrance was missing the handle on the outside. The room itself smelled old and like mildew throughout. There was a mural missing on the wall leaving in view screw holes and an unpainted area. The tub and shower head were old, out dated, and sore to the eye. There was leftover food left in the mini fridge that had mold on the seals. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, causing panic to the guests. There was no protocol in place for that type of incident. Appeared to have only one person on staff and not well trained. They said some kids pulled the alarm lever causing the disturbance. On my way out the next morning, there was NO ONE at the front desk to hand the key to, nor a drop box. Overall, this was a terrible experience. I only write negative reviews when there are 3 or more concerns. This place was a "One and Done"! Please spend the extra 10 bucks or so and stay at the Best Western Executive Residency along I-35.

This was really disappointing. It was dirty, not cleaned, no extra pillows, low staff, a green pool, hot tub did not work well, breakfast was cold biscuits, watery gravy, cereal milk, coffee with bland creamer, not self serve, we searched for this hotel for 2 days, I picked it because of it's 4.0 rating, location, price and indoor hot tub/pool. and previous Wingate Stays with great service and breakfast, we were stuck and very very disappointed

It was not air condition or heat in my room for three days it was broken no breakfast for two days and I tried to contact the manager and I never have answer nobody come to my room to fix the problem

The property was fine. It's an older property and could use a general overall cleaning in the hallways and elevator in particular. My room was pretty clean but the doors and walls in a few places could use a cleaning.

The computers didn’t work. Room was run down. Keys only were good for 24 hours. Could hear neighbors like they were in your room.
