I woke in the morning with bites and when I flipped the cover back, there were the culprits...bed bugs. Nasty to say the least. I stripped the mattress cover off and the mattress itself was completely disgusting with stains , unexplainable stains. Made my skin crawl. When i went to front desk, they asked if they could just switch me rooms for the following night...hmmm nope!
We received our room and it was the wrong room. I believed it was a room with two beds and it wasn't. We paid the up charge. The next morning I told them that I wanted to cancel the 2nd day they said no cancelations.
The room & staff were nice. The hallways smelled musty you could tell it used to allow smoking. Tge breakfast wasn't anything special but for the price of the stay it was good enough
It was just right for our convention stay. We are only in the room long enough to sleep, shower and change cloths. I went down and talk to the staff and found them very interesting to have conversation with. They knew about the neighborhood and the surrounding amenities. The hotel had ever thing that is important to us for a good convention stay. The only thing I feel that could be improved is the breakfast bar. Four of my friends also stayed at your hotel because of my suggestion and was very much pleased. Thank You!
I was frightened and concerned to stay there. Found out we were in a motel that had a loud bar on the same side as our room. Booking the room, we thought we had a room with 2 beds, but turned out to only be 1 bed, so had to upgrade for extra $22. Place had no locking doors (motels nowadays have card access to ALL doors, this one did not). The motel is set up like a maze to find your room. NOT RECOMMENDED for a family.
The room and bathroom was a little small, but the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept on. Very friendly staff!
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Older hotel in need of updates, but clean and cheap. Area of town where hotel located is quiet and scienic; except for the beer joint located at one end of the hotel. I had to specifically ask not to be near the bar as the noise can be heard distinctly one one end of the hotel. You should add this to list of hotel extras; there were a few people in the parking lot early some mornings who were patrons from the bar from the night before...people with beer cans at 7 AM really stand out.
Lobby area had the strong odor of stale cigarette smoke. Check-in was ok and staff was friendly enough--had to wait about 20 minutes for room. Carpet going up the stairs was soiled. Upon entering room, I was hit by a strong chemical odor that seemed to be permeating the carpet. Luckily I was able to open the window to air it out. Upon airing out however, the chemical odor was replaced by another unpleasant odor, this one of human origin. Luckily, my stay was just for one night.
keep it fresh, simple, comfortable, and priced to stay longer.
