I travel in my job. Lots of short stays but sometimes for several months. I seldom...ok never, find a place this nice for the price. The suites are well laid out, very clean, and the kitchen has most everything you need. Due to a house fire, we stayed here while our home was being repaired through Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and beyond. We only live about 3 miles away so didnt know much about the hotels here. We spent 2 nights each at 3 of the 'popular name' hotels around Tulsa but were not comfortable. The insurance company suggested the staybridge and we felt at home immediately and were surprised that we actually enjoyed it. Even the free meals were good. At most places i'll try the breakfast maybe 2-3 days then only grab a coffee on the way through for the rest of my stay. This place has a different main course each day and i looked forward to it.
We enjoyed our stay at the Staybridge Suites in Tulsa Ok. We booked 2 -2 bedroom suites. We found both the rooms to be very clean and spacious. The beds were comfy and they had nice pillows. The parking lot was nicely lighted. The only downside was the front desk lady. She was not very friendly or welcoming.
Very cozy quiet even though construction outside. Nice little kitchenettes with everything to cook with. Very reasonable rates for this nice of a stay. Stayed at many places that were more costly yet not as nice as this one
We stayed for one night. Reviews were good and price looked reasonable. Big disappointment when we arrived. Not easy to locate. The parking area was given over to construction that was going on. Nothing on the web site about the construction. The front desk was very courteous and helpful. The staff was superb. Biggest problem was the layout of the motel. It was like a corn maze. Not user friendly at all. The room had glass drinking glasses along with glass coffee cups. Had they been washed? Good question. I will not stay here because of inconvenient layout. On the plus side, the room was a nice clean room.
The Front Desk was very friendly, check-in was quick and easy. Rooms are clean and quiet...beds are very comfortable. Enjoyed the evening dinners and breakfast each morning was always hot and fresh. Nice neighborhood...it was recommended to me by a Tulsa PD officer after my rental car had been broken into at another hotel west of 169 highway. Awesome restaurants across the street and every shopping opportunity a person would need within 5 minutes. An excellent theater nearby too!
we've stayed here twice. the two bedroom suites are great when traveling with kids. :) the breakfast is good, which is important for us. staff is friendly and helpful. this will be out stopping place when we travel to see my folks in the future:)
Stayed here one night. Was upgraded into a two bedroom suite which was nice but a little much for just me. :) the free dinner was really good for being free and kept well stocked. Breakfast was the usual scrambled eggs sausage waffles etc that all the hotels have. Room was very comfortable. Would have give it five stars if I hadn't found some ants in my room. Nothing major but glad I wasn't planning to have food in the kitchen.
This IHG property is most likely the worse staybridge I have ever stayed at. They failed at every level. When I checked in the front desk lady was unable to do her job. She told me my room was not ready and had me wait two hours in the lobby. When I went back in two hours some other lady told me that was not true and offered me my room and some extra points. Not only did I not get the bad service points, I did not get my welcome points plus not they are refusing to give me my stay points because they say it was not a qualifying stay. Terrible hotel. On top of this the rooms were dirty, the people were not friendly and the food was bad. This hotel fails on all levels and really I think as a spire member this is just what seems to be the IHG way these days. Hilton and Marriott out shine IHG everyday. i sure do not like being cheated out of my points and since I paid 343.97 for two nights according them as not qualified for points. The hotel just does not want to pay for the points. I have never seen such poor management at a hotel in person or on the phone.
We stayed here a week, clean, good service, no complains. Manager and staff are nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends in need of more space and kitchenette. Hot breakfast is a plus.
The trip started off on a sour note. The room that had reserved and confirmation had been received for was a 2 bedroom 3 queen suite, but when we checked in the reservation was there, but did not match the room that was booked and we ended up with a single bedroom suite. The explanations from the front desk staff was that they electronic booking system that the hotel uses does this ALL the time. I will say that if this is an all the time issue it needs to be fixed. It's very poor service to not have the room that was booked and reserved for someone when they check in. We stayed at this same hotel and booked the same type of room a year and a half ago and had no issues. Now with the previous stay being a standard and comparing it to this trip the hotel has fallen from grace. Last time the entire hotel was clean and well maintained. This trip the hotel is showing it's age and perhaps it lack of quality control. The exterior of the hotel is missing large portions of siding. There are pieces of the rock exterior missing. The garbage cans at the front entry when we arrived were almost overflowing (they were very large trash cans). The cleanliness of the room was questionable and finally the quality of the breakfast has dropped as well. This would have been my absolute go to hotel after the last trip, but now I will definitely be seeking accommodations else where. The pros of the hotel is that it is located just far enough from the hustle of the highway and busy roads that you can feel like you are away from everything without actually being too far from anything, but there are other hotels that will fit that bill
