Very clean no pets and no smoking made it perfect for those of us with allergies. On the expensive side for location good breakfast
This hotel is about what you expect from a Hampton Inn. The rooms were clean and freshly made-up. The decor was very nice. The free continental breakfast was good. The beds did feel a little hard, but this was mostly because I wasn't used to their mattresses. I did have 2 complaints. First, on just about every travel site I visited, this hotel is listed as having a pool. They have a pool, but it is not open and apparently hasn't been since the hotel has been open. They do have a deal with the community center down the road. All guests get free access to the community center pools. However, after traveling all day, we didn't feel like getting out again. And the next morning (Sunday), the community center was closed. In all fairness, I did fail to check the hotel's website before booking or leaving on our trip. They do have a notification about the pool on their site. However, this hasn't carried over to other websites. Just BE AWARE that the pool is not working when you book. Secondly, I feel the price was a bit high for what we were given. This hotel is a good hour from Nashville, it lacks a swimming pool, and none of the amenities were worth the price we payed. There was a football game that day in Nashville. That does account for the increased price, and I'm sure many local hotels were booked. However, I do feel overcharged for the room we received. I must give kudos to the staff. They were very friendly and responsive to any questions we had. Everyone was very happy and cheerful even down to the woman managing the breakfast. All-in-all, it's a decent hotel as long as the prices aren't inflated due to local events.
I have stayed at a lot of Hamptons and usually really find them exceptional. However, I found this one average at best. I felt I paid too much for the small room, lack of pool, and mediocre breakfast. However, they had just opened, so maybe they will improve with time.
