Just okay, not bad but also not that great. Everything has a shabby feel, bathroom tub/shower had mold in the caulking. Breakfast was very sparse - not the 8 items advertised. Cleanliness ok, staff friendly. Decent location near U of A.
Bed Bugs, Roaches! Husband & 14 year old Grandson Bitten several times! Immediately left at 3:00 a.m. leaving our clothing we wore to bed in the Bathroom fear of carrying them home! Leaving the Room became even more Dangerous because of the activity in the Parking Lot, which looked like Gang and other suspicious activities! Have photos of the Bug infestation in the Beds! Pool was infested with Bird Droppings etc and closed! Nasty Nightmare place! Did contact Cust Care for Wyndham, No REFUND FROM THE Motel 8 yet although they were contacted several times by us and from Wyndham!
Clean room and big bathroom, plenty of towels, coffee maker and nice quick Continental breakfast. Staff was helpful and friendly. Not the Ritz but has what visitor needs. Recommended to all and relatively inexpensive.
This pace was horrible, check in took for ever, thy have you stand upside like a criminal, after check out I wasn't give any direction the lady answered the phone then she shooed me away with several waves of her hand, there were cars, there were lots of girls sitting in cars all night long in the bk of the hotel, I as almost mugged by a black guy and some other Hispanic guy, who would not etc me pass to get to my room until I pulled out my pocket knife, it was very very uncomfortable getting to my room, the room was clean but I only had a tiny wash towel an one hand towel in the room, veer again will I say in this place......all I can say is yikes!!!!!!!
Pretty noisy. Questionable after dark for safety.. Restaurant across street was pretty good but not one I'd go back to.
housekeeping does a really good job, the bed-sheets were so tight you could bounce a quarter off them and clean too.had issues with the TV,and the AC, mini fridge and microwave were off or unplugged on arrival but easily taken care of. evening desk agent SELENA was wonderful, helpful, and made our stay more comforting. no working ice machine.this place is ok if you plan to be in the room or away all the time, but dont take the kids.its not the hotels fault that they are in a bad location but there is a steady stream of homeless and otherwise suspicious characters roaming the street and parking lot at all hours, waffle house next door is great, overall, there was a little good and a lot of bad, so ill never stay there again.
The room was clean. I didn't have any problems connecting to the internet the first night, but it was decidedly more difficult in the morning. That being said, I was just there one night, so not too bad.
We have stayed at this Super 8 over a number of years. This year I was pleased to see there has been some major renovations since my last visit; the exterior has been newly repainted, the rooms have been renovated with new beds/furnishings. We slept great. The service was friendly and helpful; however they were unable to overcome a problem we continually had with the magnetic strip card door locks. It was frustrating to return to the room at night, after being out all day, to find the card would not open the door. I would have to walk to the office and explain to the night clerk, go through the necessary verification to have new keys made. On the third (and final) night of our stay, even the new keys would not work in the lock and it was necessary to fetch the night clerk to manually unlock the door to enable us to enter our room. I don't know if it was simply a problem with that room, or if it was an issue with other rooms as well. After a long day out, this nuisance is not desirable, and I hope they are able to resolve it.
I initially thought I had booked the other Super 8 of the I10 in Tucson, so be sure and verify the location before booking. Overall, the property was very nice. It was recently updated, the rooms were fresh and clean, the tub could have used a recaulking but aside from that it was a convenient location for me. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had continental breakfast which I didn't partake but was adequate for a quick snack on the go.
If you can stretch your budget to stay at a better motel/hotel DO IT! I didn't have the money to be able to do this. I need a handicap room. It was not barrier free due to the whirlpool tub. I asked and they don't have any barrier-free rooms. Thank heavens I was not in a wheelchair and was able to access the shower even with my limited mobility. The parking lot is a crime zone, among other things, an attempted car-jacking at knife point. I had to ask for a plug for my sink. When it was put in, it didn't work up and down. The shower controls had to be fixed and still didn't work. No water pressure in the shower as a result. The housekeeper's effort to wash the bathroom floor and front entry was 3 or 4 swipes with a cloth. I wanted to use the desk to do work on my computer. The office chair was filthy. I was informed that the cleaning staff didn't have upholstery cleaner nor a disinfectant like Lysol. It took 2 days to get a clean chair. I wonder how long it's been since the lounge chair in the room was cleaned. They never wash the bedspreads. The rooms have not been renovated despite their claims. The furniture is mismatched and beat up including the lounge chair. The daytime front desk person was rude and dismissive. The transient population in this area is also problem. Each time I left the room to get ice or other things, I was approached by one of them. One even got verbally abusive with me when I wouldn’t give him money. The best thing I can say about my stay at this joint was that I didn't pick up bed bugs, thank heavens. This motel experience was the worst I ever had.
