This has quickly become a "go-to" spot for us. We have business in the area and this hotel is so good and SO much more reasonable than others. The breakfast is great, the rooms we've had were clean and pleasant, the staff just couldn't be better. One young man actually ran after us with important papers we'd left behind after checking out. This kind of thing is rare and wonderful when one is travelling and without the routines and comforts of home. We look forward to every stay here and highly recommend it, hoping others will have a great experience too.
Stopped passing through town. This isn't a fancy hotel by any means but a nice place for the price range. It was clean and the desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Would def recommend for a budget hotel.
This place should be condemned. I don't think the floor was EVER cleaned. Slept in my clothes - and was still afraid of the bed. Put plastic down on chair before sitting. Grease on carpet, mold in bathtub grout, dirty walls. Just totally disgusting and would have checked right out but was just too tired after a long day driving. Disappointed in Choice for backing this horrible place. Reminded me of what a crack house would look like as seen on TV.
We were on a long trip and this was a convenient place to stay. The price was good and the desk clerk was awesome. I think his name was Khalil. The room was small and beds were double size but comfortable. Everything was clean and in working condition. It seemed a little dated but still OK. Would stay again. Breakfast could have been a little better. It included scrambled eggs, gravy, biscuits, bananas that were a little tired, yogurt, apples and oranges. Of course the perfect waffles were there and there was fresh juice.
The front desk manager megan and the rest of the staff were amazing the beds were amazingly soft and comfertable they were very accommodating and the room was clean and the staff were so nice and friendly. now for the bad part the regional manager April threaten me by saying she will have to call the police on me because i was upset and my voice was getting loud because they said they were going to refund me 10 % for each night for the recreation center which we had to use because there pool is down. But instead of the refund they took my money and now we have nothing to get back on because some people run on a budget. April was rude and unsympathetic to our position and its because of her i regetfuly only give you one star she is a horrible regional manager if she handles a upset guest by calling the police on me(threatening)
After spending 10hrs driving... I was somewhat worn out. I stopped at the Quality Inn in Troy, AL. This was a VERY good choice. The night clerk (Khalil) was very helpful. He suggested a room that had been recently renovated. The bed was great... the shower was exceptional, and the AC kept the room nice and cold. I loved it!!! The ONLY draw back at this property... was the "mood" lighting in their breakfast area. I should have brought a flashlight!!! The ceiling light fixtures... had 1 working CFL in each of the fixtures. Those light bulbs... were the typical 13 watt bulbs. So... in a large dining hall (approx 50' x 50') the approx total light out put... was less that 100w. I sat close to the large screen TV... so I could see what I was eating. I mentioned it to the front desk... they apologized... and said they were working on it. In my opinion... they could have put a couple of portable shop lights in the area... while they were "working" on it. Other than that... I'd stay again.
We stopped by on the way to Florida. The check in Gal was perfect, the room was exactly what we expected. Breakfast was awesome, Great attendant on a Saturday morning! Why, the check out dude was Kewl. We even had on the same pair of pants! We will be back next time through Troy.....
Thank you for allowing me to park my truck in your location. I wish more places would be like you. Great service and friendly faces ;). Night shift and morning shift staff very helpful. Quiet and safe location.
On our way to Florida stopped here. Nothing fancy but clean and well maintained and comfy bed. Looks like they had started to upgrade the room but didn't finish. All in all, not bad especially for the rate!
I stayed there for a night. Check in was really smooth and quick. Abby was helpful Bedding was great, sheet quality, duvet, pillows were almost new. Coffee maker, microwave, iron , ironing board are the amenities in the room. Common areas and room were clean. Continental breakfast was good also.
