We were among the many Hurricane Irma evacuees from our trip to Florida. Got one of the last 3 rooms available in Troy the night we stayed. It was a smoking room, but the smell was tolerable to non-smokers like us. The room was large, TV and shower worked fine. Notable was the 2 types of pillows on the beds... very nice touch. Breakfast was average/ good choices. Staff was VERY friendly.
Due to Hurricane Irma and Troy Football game, motel was full. However, that is no excuse for no towels, broken commode and general unclean condition of room. Stopped-up basin sink.
Shower stall was 24" x24" toilet was not stationary, sink faucet was loose. Mouse droppings under sink. Fridge was plugged into the outlet operated by the light switch at the door, so if lights are off so is the fridge
We were fleeing hurricane Irma a needed some place to stay on the way to Tennessee. Very glad we found this place. Nice people and good value. Plenty of dining choices near by. We'll try them again on the way home.
We were on our way home after sixteen nights on the road , visiting family in Michigan and Minnesota . We trust Wyndham to get what we need . With only one exception we have been pleased . Troy was no exception . They live up to the standard we have come to expect .
This establishment was extremely filthy with substandard living conditions. This was the only room available when we arrived to Troy, so we were required to buy our own cleaning supplies and bedding to make the room livable for one night. I am surprised Wyndham and Expedia promote this establishment.
Nasty. Will never stay here again. Molded shower curtains. Stains on carpets. Holes in bedspread. Outdated appliances.
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights on a trip to see family. We normally stay at another hotel, but booked late and all other hotels were filled due to several events. Upon arrival at 11 pm, they had mixed up our reservation and we had to have someone sleep on the floor since they had no other rooms (and there was no other hotels available). However, the manager made accomodations for the remainder of our stay and we actually received an additional room at no charge. Manager and service were very helpful and nice. The rooms/buildings are very old and run down so it looks very dirty (stains, old carpet, odors). However, the sheets/bedding were clean and so were the towels and bathroom. Beds and pillows were comfortable so we all slept well. The entire place needs remodeled. I can't believe this is a Wyndam property and they would let it fall into this condition. Even though the service was good, we won't be staying there again due to the poor conditions. For whatever reason, this website will not let me rate each item (it appears as excellent) so here is my rating (1 worst 5 best) Service - 4 Cleanliness - 2 (towels and bedding were clean) Value - 2 Location - 3 Sleep Quality - 4 Rooms - 1
For 15000 points, could have been nicer accommodations and the breakfast could have been a lot better.
I would never stay here again! The room had a horrible smell. The sheets were stained and very dingy. The burlap two seat chair in the room had a DEAD ROACH in between the cushions. The breakfast they offered in the morning was an absolute joke. This place is definitely screaming for a make over or at least NEW everything inside the room.
