Thanna's Place

Everything we were looking for

Thanna's place was everything we were looking for. Great location, comfortable accommodations and friendly hosts. Thanna's is located in the Belmont neighborhood, a couple blocks from Queens Savannah Park. Every night there are food tents at the park, which we we went to each night we were there. It's a great way to try the local dishes, from corn soup to doubles and BBQ pig tail. The location is also a short drive to Ariapita where there is a lively night scene. Anna and her daughter Thais made our stay very comfortable. They provided us with all the information we needed to ensure our time in Trinidad was enjoyable. Not to mention they made a tasty breakfast every morning. I would highly recommend Thanna's if your looking for a comfortable place to stay that's in the perfect location.

Culture Crossroads Inn

Excellent value for money

Situated in St James, about 1.5 miles from downtown Trinidad, this was a excellent find. The staff were very friendly and full of helpful advice - they even came to my rescue for an urgent last minute document reprint for a formal proposal I had to submit the next day. My room was very clean and well maintained.

Palms Hotel Trinidad

Needs work

I was told that there was shuttle service to and from the airport, however upon check in, I was told that I would have to pay for a taxi to get back to the airport when I leave. The breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly.

Montecristo Inn

Fantastic hotel/inn with impeccable service.

A true "Innkeeper" Chris and his wife Reba operate this remarkably clean and well equipped hotel near the airport in POS. I reserved their hotel site unseen off of Orbitz and did not anticipate much. I was beyond surprised with what I found, The hospitality I received went even beyond the well equipped and clean rooms. The entire experience made me feel as if I were a quest at their house as opposed to simply a patron.
