JJ’s not cozy, but functional
JJ’s is ok, but not particularly cozy or welcoming. A lot of things broken, the lac JJ’s is ok, but not particularly cozy or welcoming. OUR WORST VRBO EXPERIENCE
We’ve never left a VRBO early but did so after 1 night because the property was not as presented, lacked essential items, and was inadequately cleaned.
There is no self-check-in. Despite arranging a time, we still had to wait outside on the street, for at least 15 minutes before the person arrived.
The main bed comforter had stains on it. The 2nd bed had no linens, only a stained comforter too small for either bed. The mattress had a tear in it. When we contacted the host, the only support offered was to bring sheets to cover up the dirty comforter the next day.
The dining room chairs were damaged and look different than the photos.
There was a hole in the wall in the bedroom.
The floors creaked loudly. The bedroom door rubbed against the floor and required force to use it.
A dresser drawer had pieces of the chandelier, and screws in it.
The rug in the living room was dirty and had ants on it.
The elevator, a listed accessibility amenity, did not stop at the unit floor because that button was broken.
Poor guest experience. Provided only one small garbage container with no replacement bags for a one week booking. The laundry machine and dishwasher each had only 1 cleaning pod.
We informed the host we were vacating by 10am, because the unit was not as advertised, nor did they fulfill their Terms and Conditions. The host was checking on a refund status.
After we had checked out & left the keys locked in the unit, we were told they would not provide any refund.
