Hotel is next to the city centre about 5 to 10 min by walk. Staff in hotel is very kind and servant. If they had better beds in room score rating would be better. Food at breakfast was very good, not like other hotels in that class.
Booked in here by my client; perfectly adequate hotel, no frills. Clean, easy access for disabled (stair lift to first floor and lifts). Breakfast served buffet style (on top floor), quite adequate selection. Very handy for railyway and the northern part of the city centre - easy walking distance to most places. Not massively surrounded by eateries. Fridge in room, cups and wine glasses - buit no tea/coffee making facilities. Good shower/loo (my shower didn't drain too well) and separate small dressing area (though my wardrobes had a broken mirror-fronted door). TV OK - took somew time to work how to operate it. Would have been helpful to give me the (free) wifi passcode when I checked in, however. Plpenty of plug sockets for charging and using phones, laptops, etc. Helpful English-speaking staff on reception. All in all OK; may return on next visit, but a few more creature comforts would be nice!
clean, well-kept, modernized well. Excellent international breakfast. kind staff. good prices for the type of hotel. Really recommended. close to the city center, train station and public transport; also excellent for a tourist trip
I did book this hotel for just one night as I will returning home the next day but was pleasantly surprised. Small but comfortable rooms at a fair price. Helpful and friendly staff. Hotel is well located near the bus station.
We needed one night to be able to make the cruise ship the next morning. It is close to the port but I wouldn't walk it while dragging luggage because of the uneven pavement. The cab ride was cheap and the front desk will call it for you. The rooms are simple but as I said, nothing fancy and does the job. There were a few stores around it, a couple of cafés and an ice cream place that was pretty good. The elevator stops between floors so you will have to carry your luggage up/down about 5 or 6 stairs. The main downtown area is about a 7 minute walk away with lots of shops and restaurants.
We stayed here for one night on our way to Vicenza. Staff was polite, our room large and clean. Our bed was not particularly comfortable (mattress on the double bed was sagging). The breakfast however was a pleasant surprise - quite good and plenty to choose from; breakfast room was also very cute and cosy. The hotel is centrally located, overlooking a main street but there isn't a parking so you have to find a place on one of the streets near the hotel.
Ideally located , close to Bus and Train Stations. Bus Stops located outside the hotel making getting around easy. Clean hotel with helpul(ish) staff. Breakfast was a continental style buffet breakfast, adequate . We arrived and had a fourth floor room, no problems there , within thirty seconds of entering room I had tripped over a hidden step and met the balcony wall full on. left a rather unflattering mosaic of my face in the wall which was still there when we left hope its been removed as it scared me let alone anyone else. I hope that a sign at the very least has been placed to warn others that behind the bed is a step! Still having treatment , so room 404 occupiers beware of the step
Hotel very close to the bus station which worked well for us as we came in via Trieste airport and then took the bus into Croatia later on. About a 10 minute walk into the centre. Hotel staff friendly and had a couple of good recommendations of places to eat. Breakfast standard but perfectly ok. Room was air conditioned and a good size (there were 4 of us). Overall no complaints - would recommend.
We stayed for one night on our way over to Slovenia - the hotel is a perfect location for such a trip being right by the bus and train stations. It was a couple of minutes into the centre of the town which was beautiful. The hotel itself was clean, awkward with luggage because of the various stairs, the room was basic but relatively modern and very comfy. Would definitely consider a return visit! They do however need to provide forks at breakfast!
The hotel is quite small but it's perfectly charming with an attentive and friendly staff. We stayed in a doubleroom on the first floor with the hotels only balcony. The room was ok in size and the balcony very small but the hotel holds a rustic charm. The location is perfect. Central but not too central, a few minutes from down town and very close to the central station aswell as the harbor. The street is quite busy with traffic but the excellent double doors to the balcony made it very silent. A small fridge and a clean bathroom. Only problem was that the shower is very very small. However I strongly recommend this rustic hotell.
