The hotel was older, but was clean. The check in was easy. They need more parking. For the price, it served its purpose but I would spend more to stay somewhere nicer in the future.

Hotel was clean. Thin walls so we could hear a lot. It was pricey for just a place to sleep, I realize this is TC's busy time of year but $230 was a bit much for a Travel Lodge.

we just like to stay at the travel lodge it's a very nice place and it's affordable and usually quite

Great price. Room terribly musty. All electrical plugs did not work on bed side of room. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Nice size tv. Minimal breakfast. Housekeeping never came to our room when we removed the do not disturb sign . Our socks and the bottom of our feet were very dirty after walking on the carpet. Ant problem in the bathroom . Billing issue at desk. If you can deal with this in exchange for a great price, go for it. But if you have to pay a comparable price to other places in the area, go somewhere else .

We had a very pleasant 2-day stay. The hair dryer stopped working, we got another one after a call to the desk. Nice, clean room.

Great staff, room was very clean, bed was dreamy nice place to stay.

It's a Travelodge, so it isn't a 5 star hotel, but all I needed was a place to study and crash before a state exam the next day. I spoke to Francis at the front desk on the phone before I arrived who was very nice. Once I got there, he got me checked in quickly. The room he sent me to first hadn't been cleaned yet, so I went back to the lobby to ask for another room. No problem at all! Francis upgraded me to a bigger room with a microwave and fridge for the inconvenience (even though there really was none, the lobby was a total of maybe 25 steps away). Once I got to the upgraded room, the key wouldn't work. Again, he apologized profusely, recoded the keys and got me in. He promised that if it didn't work that time, he'd give me a free night stay. Overall, no big deal at all. We laughed about the mixup. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. That was all I needed! The king bed was comfortable and had 6 pillows on it (SIX!)...awesome. The only thing I would have liked was a thicker blanket on the bed, but there wasn't one in the room and I didn't want to bother Francis again. I just turned up the heat a couple degrees and it worked out great. Breakfast was simple: bagels, mini muffins, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, orange juice, milk, and make-your-own Belgian waffles. (I didn't have one, but another couple did and they had strawberry syrup to top it off which looked delicious) For 50 bucks a night, I couldn't have asked for anything more.

It was very relaxing day and I enjoyed my stay. And I would stay there again and the breakfast was good too

We were in town due to a death in the family, so we needed 3 nights in Traverse City last minute. This hotel met our needs, and the price (for summer time) was reasonable. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom area (both sink area and shower/stool area) was very dark - low watt bulbs in the fixtures and no windows, making it hard to see to style hair or shave, also very small areas. Our room was located at the rear of the hotel, which made it very quiet. Overall, the hotel was OK, but I would not book this again unless it was a last resort.

Good inexpensive place to stay in TC. Enjoyed pool and how close it is to downtown area.

We stayed here to do a wine tour and it was perfect! The staff is friendly and the rooms are nice. The location is good but you do have to drive everywhere

the location is not far from downtown, easy drive. Its clean but nothing special, you get what you pay for. The staff was super friendly and had good suggestions of places to go.

This is my second time staying at Travelodge and I would return again because of the great value. The staff was polite and the room was clean and up-to-date. Our room only had shampoo, bath soap, and facial soap. Not sure if they provide lotion or conditioner but I personally didn't need the items so it didn't bother me. I do wish the room had a fridge and/or microwave. The channels were clear on the TV. Breakfast included basics like waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, bagels, mini muffins, cereal, milk, and coffee. They also have a pool but I've never used it so I can't comment on it. Overall, it's a nice, clean place to stay that's a decent price and pretty close to downtown.

I was disappointed with my stay here, and I'm really not that picky when it comes to hotel stays. My reservation was supposed to include a hot tub, but didn't. I didn't complain to the desk about it because after seeing the room I was given, I didn't think I'd even want to use it. There was a used washcloth on top of the shower curtain, the tub got backed up from a regular length shower, and the sink had gross looking stains in it. There was nowhere to plug our phone chargers into. I put mine at the bathroom sink, and my husband had to unplug the microwave for his. The bed was comfortable though. It is not the closest hotel to the city, but not that far if you're driving.

Good value, kids enjoyed pool. Missed yogurt at breakfast.

This hotel is a perfect spot for visiting Traverse City. Comfortable room with excellent desk staff. A great value for such a great location. The only thing that could be improved was the temperature of the swimming pool. It had to be 100 degrees and not very refreshing after a long day in TC. Otherwise, it was wonderful. I have stayed there several times in the past and will definitely stay again!

I have stayed here before. The pro's this time are the new beds and the place has been painted. Also the staff couldn't have been nicer. Everyone was very friendly. They allow dogs which is great. The Con's are the food; not a good selection for breakfast. (only two cold cereals, not high quality.) There was no bread for toast. Waffles were good and coffee was never hot and old fashioned brewing process. Didn't try the pool. Used it as a place to sleep and go visit friends.

Was very packed and busy. Walls are pretty thin, but hotel is a great value. Big flat screen, clean room, quick check in/out. And the no hassle pet policy is a huge benefit. Great for quick stays

Good value. Not looking for much stayed while on business. Room was clean. The WiFi worked.

Came during the off season had wonderful stay the cable was out during our stay but was in most the town the company was willing to help anyway they could because of this problem. The room was comfy and clean i would recommend it to friends
