This is a private house not as advertised
We have booked through Expedia for years and this was our first bad experience. This is a house not a hotel that we booked so our daughter, her husband and their newborn baby could join my husband and myself for a few days. We had hoped for the space a house provides. This house is not as described. First we were only given a phone number to call for instructions on how to enter the house. Upon calling the owner replied that she knew nothing of our booking and did not do business with Expedia. After a half hour she called back and said she would have the house ready and the door unlocked with key on the counter. We arrived to find this house not as advertised. One bedroom is very nice with a queen, one bedroom has only a single with no door on the room or any privacy at all. The third room is up a stair case that is so dangerous you can't go up it without your foot completely sideways. There was no way a person could go down holding a newborn safely. We called our daughter told them this was not going to work. The smell was also so bad when the door to go upstairs was opened it explained why every window was left wide opened to air it out. I would advise anyone booking this house to realize that Expedia has not listed this house as described. We stayed because it was my husbands 60th birthday, we knew how booked the area was and we were not wanting a confrontation with a home owner. That is why we went thru Expedia. Never again
