Hotel was dirty and smelly. Parking lot had trash everywhere.
The 2 star rating should've been a dead give away but, it was super close to the venue we were attending & nothing else was available. Nothing was clean about this place, the lobby, the hall and LEAST of all the rooms. The beds were sketchy, doubt the sheets were changed, it appeared the smoke alarm was unhooked (and removed), the heat light in bathroom was broken (I have pics).
The price they asked for and the look of the place inside was disrespectful. I would not recommend staying. They tried to double charge me saying orbits didn’t pay them for my stay, got bit by some creature in the neck so just be careful when you decided to stay. Good luck.
The room was not clean. Had a smell! When I went to take a shower the water sprayed all over the bathroom it was one u could remove and use. Went to the front desk they said we will call maintenance. The man came tried to fix and then said he would go to menards and get a replacement. He never came back. Used the bathtub to clean up and we left. Arriving home it was NOT fixed. No shower in the morning not happy to leave that way!! Also there was no wi-fi or intervener. The internet was fixed however no wi-fi. In the morning we were told the manager would call us. That never happened. We stayed at Econo Lodge off 37 in Traverse City Michigan. I don’t expect any response just wanted to let you know our stay was not fun. Oh I also forgot while telling the front desk about the shower another guest said there were bugs under his bed!
This property was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. The smoke detector had been ripped of the wall, bathroom was filthy, carpet was stained. Would have not stayed if there had been anything available in the area. Probably be filthiest place I have ever stayed.
Called them and they said I didn’t have a reservation
Dirty halls and rooms. Smelled like cigarettes. Had dirty towels in room. Cleaning person was very nice and supplied clean towels and scrubbed the dirty toilet.
Clean.wooden floors.Staff friendly.Quiet place.Good location Not impressed with continental breakfast, could of had more choices.
Several miles out of town. Very bare bones older hotel.
Found black mold in room 120 next to tub. I took pictures. When I got here I was supposed to be in room 215 but it wasn’t cleaned yet. After lugging my bags to the 2nd floor they gave me another room on the first floor. The room was noisy and slipped twice from the soap scum in the tub to use the shower. The bathroom had a weird smell to it and saw the mold in the wall. I would like my money back after being in a room with black mold!
Great location and price, however the room was less than perfect. There was a pizza box left in the fridge with 1/2 eaten pizza and bread sticks from a previous guest. The toilet moved each time we sat on it. The room was swept clean only....looking clean at first glance, but hastily cleaned at best.
Very nice stay. Clean. No problems. Why an i forced to write 50 characters?
first impression, enjoyed that the flooring in the bedroom was not carpeting. on the surface, room appeared clean but during the night mosquito(s) found their way out of hiding/into the room and bit my daughter's hand and face. Her hand was so swollen she could not curl her fingers to hold anything. We got medicine to counteract the bites, considered going to urgent care but, some of the swelling was down after ice & meds so we checked out and tried to enjoy the rest of our time in Traverse City. it made for a unhappy ending to our trip. did not expect to need bug spray in the room.
Loved the room. Breakfast was good too. Checked in pretty late, but that was no problem. No one was at the reception, so I called the hotel phone. The hotel employee arrived within 2 minutes and checked me in.
The room was remodeled - But the bathroom was not remodeled and was disgusting.
AC didn't work Trim falling of the wall Bathroom smelled bad
It was a very quiet and very comfortable hotel, love the fact that my daughter was able to visit and swim with us unlike Red Roof Inn...
good location. great price. its little outdated but well maintained
