The suite was okay, but there are a few things future guests should know. It's located at the far northern edge of the city, so you’ll definitely need a car to get around. It’s above a garage, and the garage door motor is loud enough to vibrate the bed—though thankfully it wasn’t used at night during my stay.
The place is bright, but the shutters don’t close properly, and one can’t close at all due to the AC unit venting through the window, so light comes in early. The loft feels very basic: only two plates, cups, and glasses, NO coffee, tea, sugar, or oil, and just one towel and a floor mat. No toiletries either. The kitchen has a stove, fridge, microwave, and kettle, but I didn’t see a coffee maker (I don’t drink coffee, so I might have missed it).
The bed was fine for one person—firm and comfortable—but small for two, and there were no nightstands. The bathroom is very tight, especially the shower, and it was hard to get the water temperature right. Cleanliness was a concern; I had to wash the kitchenware before use, and the shower was not cleaned prior to my arrival.
The suite has a DIY feel—some finishes are rough, and half the electrical outlets were covered with duct tape. Wi-Fi was spotty and affected the TV as well. Entry door definitely needs a safety latch.
Compared to other Airbnbs I’ve stayed in, this one felt overpriced for what it offered.
