There was only one gentleman working the desk! It was BGSU President Day!! He did a great job,was pleasant,and efficient! The room was great too.

Rooms were not ready at checkin time. We arrived 1 hour before check in time and respectfully and patiently waited in the lobby. At 3pm (check in time), rooms were still not ready. We were on a tight schedule and did not get checked into our room until after 3:30pm. The room was very hot at night, despite turning on the AC to a very cool setting. There was only a quarter of a roll of toilet paper in the room. There was no bedding for the pull out sofa. I typically like Holiday Inn Express, but this was the worst experience I have had with any hotel

Check in was rough. Young front desk staff could use some additional training in de-escalation and customer service. Hotel was underprepared for large guest influx for busy weekend for nearby BGSU. The stay was alright and room was mostly clean, crumbs in the corners and dust on high surfaces but not too bad.

Worst Holiday Inn I’ve experienced. Hairs (men’s nether region hairs) on the bathroom floor when I got there. Room had an adjoining door that kept out no noise. I woke up at 3:45 AM to a blaring TV in the room next-door. After trying to go back to sleep for 45 minutes I finally called the front desk. They went ahead and sent someone upstairs to knock on their door and it stopped. The next morning, let’s just say I could hear everything happening in the other bathroom. Breakfast food was cold and sausages hard and crunchy. Zero stars on taste. I stayed two nights and got no housekeeping after the first night. Couldn’t use the heat in the room because it smelled like burnt dust. No thermostat, just an old-fashioned register by the window with knobs. Visible dirt and dust inside the register. Staff obviously smoking in the housekeeping room, could smell it by the elevator. I wouldn’t come back.

The breakfast was ok, needed a microwave nearby though to make it hot. Appreciated the breakfast on the go bag. The room was clean, bathroom clean but in a weird place near the bed making it difficult to use the bathroom without disturbing someone asleep. Parking good, bed comfortable. Pool ok (water kinda cold), no hot tub.
